I’ve been “casually” stamping for years but I think the true obsession started about a year and half ago when my friend finally convinced me to join the Stampin’ Up monthly club she was in. I’m not in the club anymore but the stamping addiction lives on!
Thanks so much for the chance to win such a great prize!

When I finally got some training on how to use rubber stamps and felt some success, bout 5 years ago. Whoever wins the Stampin’ Up! MDS program, be sure to contact a certified demonstrator for some training. It is great, but training makes it better!

My love affair with stamping began almost five years ago when I signed up as a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator. I started out primarily as a scrapbooker, but it didn’t take me long to realize that stamps were the icing on the cake. And I liked icing a lot!! Now, even though I’m no longer a demonstrator, I can’t imagine crafting without stamps.
Thanks for the chance to win this fabulous prize package. My stamping budget is so very. very small these days and it would be so wonderful to be able to win this.

Oh, I’ve always loved paper and stickers (and as I child of the 80s, I was in luck there!), but I really fell in love with stamping in 2003, when I asked a colleague to teach me to stamp so I could make my wedding invitations — and I’ve never looked back! Now I can’t stop stamping anything that doesn’t move!

Oh my, that was a very long time ago. I used to go to the local stamp store and just buy a couple separate stamps, then I got into Stampin Up…..now I buy it all! Its probably been about 14 years or so now, but I’ve only been “addicted/obsessed” for about 4 years, with absolutely no end in site!! Thanks for the chance to win all of this fabulous stuff!!!

My love affair officially began in November of 2008 when I went to a CTMH gathering. I had never stamped before that. I couldn’t understand why people would WANT to stamp before that… lol. Now I find myself buying stamps sets all the time whether I need them or not, from all different companies and I can’t seem to stop!

I was introduced to stamping by way of a birthday gift. I have been a card maker for about 8-10 years. I started off making cards digitally. It slowly grew into a dimensional obsession, as I started seeing one or two magazines and lots of goodies in the craft stores. Once my friend gave me the gift certificate to the stamping company, I was hooked. That was several years ago. I aspire to improve in this art of stamping, and how better to do that than with your magazines…There are SO many GREAT stamps out there!

My love affair with stamping started when I first picked up a rubber stamping magazine and thought, “Wow… I can do this!” I was hooked then and still can’t seem to get enough of papercrafting… and that was about ten years ago!

I started stamping app one year ago but really got into it BIG TIME in the last 6 months! I just love the freedom to create that stamping gives me….one day a heart stamp is just a heart stamp but the NEXT DAY that heart magically becomes part of a four leaf clover! Seriously, stamping is just plain fun!

I started stamping about the same time I started scrapbooking, when my first child was around two. My BFF got me hooked, as I had all these photos and I didn’t know what to do with them — and scrapbooking was JUST was I was looking for. I loved the ability to custom create whatever I wanted with stamps to perfectly coordinate with my projects!

What a fantastic prize! Wow!! I received a stamp set from a friend about 2 years ago. I had no idea how to stamp, and ended up so frustrated that I had more ink on myself. I love stamping because it is so versatile. You can create different variations with just one stamp. Plus, I kind of like the coloring part 🙂 Thank you for the opportunity.

My first stamping experience was sometime in the middles 90’s when I did some extremely simple stamping on cardstock for Christmas presents for some of my co-workers; I supervised 6 or 7 people at that time. But my rubber-stamping/card-making really took off in 2006 when I was living in an apartment in the Salt Lake valley, but most of my crafting stuff was till packed up in boxes in FL; card-making was fast, easier (than scrapbooking) and didn’t need ALL the stuff that I didn’t have. I made my first card this month in several months (moving as a single lady is HARD!!!) and now I’m feeling my creative mojo return!!!

Oh my gosh……I am very new to card making, like within the last month or so. I found a challenge blog while looking for scrapbooking skectches and I have been hooked. I don’t have lots of supplies yet but they are comin….lol. For now I mostly download the digi stamps and use those but I am slowly building up my stamp stock 🙂

Oh my….look at those amazing stamps, and glimmer mist, and COPICS! Wow, what an awesome prize pack!
I know exactly when my stamping addiction began. I made a very plain scrapbook for my Dad for Christmas November 2007, and was online and noticed SU! was a big company in the field. I called and the local rep stopped over for an afternoon. Our visit turned into 6 hours of fun! I remember wanting everything she showed me. I got some of the basics she used and have been buying stamping supplies every since. It didn’t take me long to find PC and CK as well, as a matter of fact my next visit to the grocery store and I picked them up. It became a routine to visit the magazine section (my husband used to tease me that only I can find craft supplies at the grocery store)until finally my dh just said why don’t I just get you a subscription. Can you see how my addiction has grown!?!?

My first stamp was a hummingbird and I think I was twelve when I got it. I still have it! I wasn’t really a stamper then, I just liked cute and pretty things. I didn’t really get into stamping again until almost exactly one year ago, when my mother-in-law got into it and suggested I give it a try as something to do with my “free” (ha!) time now that I am a SAHM. The rest is history…and a bare bank account *LOL* Love those stamps…how can you not?

Wow, look at all the amazing stamps! I began collecting clear stamps a couple years ago but couldn’t figure out how to use them without smudging or choosing an ink that would actually show up on the page. More recently I really starting making cards and have been stamping my heart out so I guess my true love affair with stamping began in the last month or so.

My love for stamping began in 2005. Up until that time I would scoff at people creating their own cards when buying one was so much easier. Well, I had to eat crow when in 2005 I saw just how fun it was and discovered I liked creating my own cards with my own personal style (which I had no idea I had!). Ever since then, I have a hard time letting a day go by without creating something …it is as though I go through withdrawls, LOL! Thanks for the chance at this fabulous candy :o)

I can’t remember how long I have endured this affliction.
It started at least 18 years ago. I remember seeing a pretty long stem rose stamp. and a lilac ink pad not far from it, on a shelf in Meijer’s. I stamped the rose on all my outgoing mail. Then about 2 years later my sister helped out a neighbor by having a D.O.T.S. home party.
My name is Reah and I am a stampaholic.

I went to a Stampin’ Up! party hosted by my neighbor and was totally hooked! I’d always loved art in school, had the first box of 100+ crayons..you remember the one that was the size of a board game?!? My jr. high art teacher once lamented that I’d never go into art because I’d be a brain surgeon…so I grew up to be a stamper! Everyone likes to be creative and stamping makes it so easy!

My stamping passion started in 1996. A friend from work had been stamping for some time and I always liked the art she produced. So, there was an intro class at a local store. I signed up to see what kind of handmade card I could make to surprise her. Well, that’s all it took … my collection started in a shoebox but it didn’t take long to expand and now has its own dedicated space. I can’t see a time when I won’t be a stamper!

Amazing prize pack. I went to a demonstration and tried stamping. I’d say about 2 years ago…about the time i tried to make my first card 🙂 Wow…this is fantastic! I didn’t realize there was something so versatile. To this day…still don’t think there is. There are just so many techniques and snazzy little things you can do with a stamp and one stamp can look so different by the time your done with it. You can use them on almost anything you could dream up, from paper, metal, glass, fabric…Whats not to love!?! 🙂

My stamping love affair started not long after I started scrapbooking – around 2004. Before that – I owned one stamp – a Tweety Bird Stamp and black ink. I used the stamp to decorate the outside of packages I mailed to my friend. I still have tweety.

My love affair with stamping started very recently. I found a store that had a couple of clear stamps. I brought them not knowing how to use them, then I turned to the internet, found Splitcoaststampers and there has been no looking back.
Sadly not much of stamping or scrapping stuff is available in India, but I have generous blogger friends who have sent me stuff they don’t use, and they keep my creativity alive.
thanks for the superb inspirations throughout the week.

Like many others I imagine, I was introduced into the wonderful world of stamping through a Stampin’ Up party a good number of years ago. I discovered them again a few years back and it has been a non-stop love affair with stamping ever since, which has led me to discover an online stamping community, the wonders of clear stamps (yay Papertrey Ink and others), and the phenomenal resource sharing available through publications such as Stamp It cards, online blogs, etc. It’s inspiring!

Oh my gosh! That is the most fabulous prize ever! It would be an absolute dream for me to win all of that. Then years later, I found and fell in love with Stampin Up! and that grew and grew into the world of stamping. Now, I’ve been away from stamping for a while but I am just itching to get back into it more than ever. Thanks for the chance to win – I hope I am lucky enough. Have a great weekend!

Awesome prize…so many things I haven’t tried. I started stamping with the Studio G $1 stamps. I felt if I didn’t really like it not much money was lost. Now there are so many lovely stamps & I keep finding more reasons to use them. Making cards for OWH hasn’t helped my need of stamps either!

I got into the stamping world about a year ago. I had a book, which I thought was a scrapbook, but it was just pages with pictures all on the pages. I showed it to one of my friends as a scrapbook, and she looked at me and said, “Maxine that isn’t a scrapbook, that’s a book crying for help”. I looked online, and seen that people only had 2-4 pictures on a beautiful decorated page. I had maybe 20 with no embelishment or mat of any kind. I started going on ebay and went to craft stores, and before I knew it I was a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. I LOVE everything crafty now. I just found out how to use Copic markers, and I have been holding out on buying the My Digital Studio, so these prizes would be AMAZING to win. I took over our “computer” room, because my stuff is pretty much everywhere now. I thank Lacey for inspiring me in the blog world. She is the main reason I started my own blog, and started to enter challenges. She has so much talent, and I hope one day to be close to her level. It’s still a learnign process, but I am loving every minute of this crafty ride!!!!!

My new neighbor invited me to a cookout. One of her guests had brought a stamped card. I went BEEEEEZERK! She told me about a Stamp Lady. This was on a Tuesday about 5 years ago. I called the Stamp Lady and booked a party for the immediate Saturday. No time to even get a kit to invite friends. I had 17 ladies crowded in my cracker box dining room and we kept that stamp lady at my house alllllll day. That night, I stamped all night in my sleep. I have been insane over it ever since.

OH man! I have no idea, I would say the sickness started around 2006. I had started getting into scrapbooking and was throwing around the card making idea. Stamps just seemed a reasonable way to go.

My love of stamping has recently started growing with the introduction of background stamps to my stash. I LOVE all the different looks I can achieve with them. My stamp collection has since started expanding to other areas.

Some 8 years ago, my son’s 5th grade class needed to raise money for a field trip in the Spring. At the suggestion of the other mom (my friend Yvonne) we attended a SU workshop to learn how to stamp cards to teach the children(our sons’ classmates) to make Christmas cards to sell. We sold them all and the rest is history!

For me it all started with seeing a Stampin’ Up! catalog at my sister’s house about 7 years ago. I visited her shortly after she had attended a workshop and she couldn’t pry the catalog out of my hands all weekend! Many years, and many, many stamps later, I am still in LOVE with this craft.

i have a good friend (a penpal!) in England who has been sending me handmade cards for a number of years. i always thought they were SO cute, and i cherished them more than any store-bought card i’d ever gotten. one day i decided to try my hand at making my own, but was CLUELESS when it came to supplies. i bought the cheapest cardstock and patterned paper, and used STICKERS to embellish. BUT i bought one little tiny set of alpha stamps, and began to customize my greetings… this happened about 3 1/2 years ago, and i have been in LOVE ever since! i have only really started buying stamps en masse within the last year.
online shopping makes it SO easy to try all the different companies and find all the inspiration one could ever want! so my stamp collection keeps growing, exponentially… one can NEVER have too many!
thank you VERY much for such a wonderful opportunity! i’ve never submitted my work for publication before, but this will be the first time. my fingers are crossed!

Winter 2006 and my mother is to blame/thank! I was at her house looking at Paper Crafts mag looking for ideas to make my wedding reception invites. I had the thought “I can do this!” while browsing. I didn’t pick up a stamp until Oct 2007 but the seed had already been planted.

My love started quite a few years ago watching the Carol Duvall show. I was so intrigued and we had no stamp stores near by so I started buying stamping magazines, searched them for stores in NC. the nearest one to me was 3-4 hours away but off I went. My life hasn’t been the same since.

WOW! Holy moly!!! My love affair with stamping occurred when I was working in a local scrapbook store. A favorite customer of mine revealed that she was a Stampin’ Up demonstrator. She invited me over for a workshop that she was having! I went CRAZY!! I loved everything that I was seeing, and I created cards that night (some of my FIRST cards), and I’ve never looked back. She showed me heat embossing that night, and I do believe that my mouth was hanging open when I saw it in action!! I still have the first card I heat embossed at this workshop!! Anyway, this was back in 2001 I believe? I’ve been hooked on stamping ever since, and to this day, Stampin’ Up is still one of my favorite companies!! ♥ Thanks for a chance to win! Have a wonderful weekend!!

My love affair with stamping started when I came across a booth in our Shopping Center way back in 1996. I got them to make a custom stamp for me to sign my cards with. It had a hand with the peace sign, a heart for love, and a happy face. Thus Peace, Love and Happiness.
Happy Friday, and good luck to all.

Goodness….it is hard to remember back that far! I’ve been a stamper off and on for ages. I remember being very fascinated sometime during the 80s with the powder that you could put on your stamped image, heat over a toaster and get a raised image — Embossing!!! I love StampIt magazine. I wish it would come out more often. Thanks!

One of my college roommates tried to get me hooked in 2002, but I held off until a bit later as we were busily planning our wedding that year. You know… it truly is a love affair! I started stamping about 7 years ago and it was the best thing I ever did for myself! I get butterflies just thinking about it!! It is so free-ing and exciting to explore with color and ink and the shopping! OH, the shopping!!! Its a love that just gets stronger with each new stamp release and deeper with every new technique trend. And there is Jewelry!! Well, card jewelry that is…rhinestones and brads and ribbons and and and! Aahhh, be still my heart!

My love affair with stamps began at my friend’s kitchen table. I had never heard of stamping before–except for stamping the back of checks with the “For Deposit Only” stamp. I was hooked from the first imprint. I shamelessly went to wallpaper stores to get their old wallpaper books so I could cut them apart to use as free background paper (we didn’t have a craft store in the area at that time). I would say she probably owes me about $3000.00–that’s how deep into it I think I am–but I’m in denial over my addiction and won’t add it all up in case my husband should ever find out. I even bought the big Scrap Box armoire, which my family has affectionately called “Narnia” after the wardrobe in the book. I go to “Narnia” as often as I can. So, you see, if I won, you’d be giving it to a loving home.

I’ve dabbled with stamping on and off for years. Love adding a perfect sentiment to a card, embossing an image that gives an added punch to the card and love experimenting with colors. But most of all, I love shopping. There’s nothing better than coming home with a new stamp set. Thanks for the chance to win.

I guess my love of stamping began a long time ago. My brother was showing a pig at the Fort Worth Stockshow, and over in the display area there were booths. They were selling embossing powder and stamps. I begged my mom for some. She caved in, and the rest is history. Thanks for the chance to win.

I bought my first stamp when I was 15.. A little basket held my treasures and it followed me to all the places I lived during college, and through my single years and during my first years of marriage…
Then… I was invited to a Stampin’ Up workshop about 4 years ago! Let’s just say my stamps are numerous and fill lots of sterillite containers and binders and are on jump rings! Tons…
And I girl can never have too many stamps:)

My love affair with stamping began in 1997 when my friend Cathy Craft invited me to her stamp class (just in case there weren’t very many people) So, I was class filler. She let me stamp for free and that was the BEST investment she ever made for her business. 🙂 I was hooked and have been stamping ever since (13 years). I still love stamping as much as that very first day even though I don;t get as much time to stamp as I would like. With all these wonderful freebies I would have no excuse!

I really truly fell in love with stamping a couple of years ago when I found out about a great stamp company, Hero Arts. I know they have been around for a long time, but I have never taken an interest in stamping up until I found out about them on Jennifer McQuire’s blog. Ever since then I can’t stop stamping. And now with all these great stamping companies, my cup has runneth over, and I am now more in love with this wonderful hobby of mine.

My love affair with stamps began in 2007 after the birth of my daughter. I was invited to a Stampin’ Up party and ended up purchasing oodles of baby themed stamps. I purchased embossing powder and an embossing gun and just started experimenting!! I had a fabulous time coming up with different color combinations using my stamps. I am now becoming enamoured with acrylic sets. I love how easier the placement of stamps is. The featured collection is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!!

I struck out on my own around 1992 and embossed some silver angels on navy Christmas cards, burning my hand on the toaster!! A couple years later attended a SU demo, a local store fostered my obsessions, my love has just grown wildly from there, and eventually my crafting room changed into a stamping room!! My love affair with stamping began 12 years ago when I went kicking and screaming to a stamping party hosted by by sister-in-law. She had been asking me for quite a while to join her and the thought of driving the distance to her home (it’s a long drive) right after giving birth to my second child was daunting. She persisted so I gave in and I was hooked. Three children later and I am still obsessed. I love to stamp b/c it gives me a creative outlet and some me time. I love creating things for family and friends.

I have been obsessed with paper and rubber stamps since I was a little girl. I didn’t know what to do with them, but I loved having them and loads of cute paper. Then I was introduced to Stampin’ Up at a workshop in 2003 and even though I avidly stamped for about 2 years I fell away from it for no particlar reason. But low and behold I saw a handmade card 2 years ago and thought, “why did I stop?” and so here I am; loving every minute and dreaming in cards nad stampin regularly for the last two years!!! Yayyyyy

My love for stamping began just about a year ago. I was at CKC in St. Louis looking at a Unity Stamp and a lady standing beside me said. “Oh you will love that stamp, I have it.” My check book has not been the same. One look at a Stampin’ Up catalog in 2003 and I was hooked. I had never stamped before but I was amazed at what you could create with a stamp, ink and cardstock. I hosted a Stampin’ Up party then signed up to be a demonstrator thinking I could save money making my own greeting cards instead of buying them. Seven years later I’m still hooked on stamping, I’m no longer a Stampin’ Up demonstrator, and I’m saving money on making my own cards (NOT!). I love how the industry has grown so much and all the fabulous products available!

Wow, what an amazing prize package! My love affair with stamping began when I was trying to find a store bought card and instead saw a hand stamped

I’ve always done little bits of stamping..just plain things like designs on a Christmas card envelope etc. Then about 2 years ago, I started seeing some wonderful things and got jealous ! LOL So I’ve slowly started delving into it and I love getting INKY ! Love it with all my heart!

I have only just begun stamping! I have a big problem though…I have always been one that is afraid to try anything because I’m afraid I’ll fail. I know that sounds silly but it is oh so true!!! I think purchasing the Stamp It! magazine and watching some tutorials would help. I always thought rubber stamps were only used for stamping your address on envelopes or for something to be marked PAID IN FULL. I had no idea what all it entailed. After I saw some of the beautiful cards produced I became very curious and now here I am ready to stamp!!! Thanking you very much for being so generous!!!

My obsession began a bit over 5 years ago at a baby shower, of all places! All the guests sat down to stamp on burp cloths and onesies for the mommy-to-be and I was the only one who didn’t know what to do! I was totally intrigued (and a bit intimidated) by the variety of things that could be done with a little rubber and ink…that variety still fuels my fire today! Thanks for the chance to win!

Hmmm. I can’t remember exactly but I think it was about 5 years ago! I dabbled in stamps before that but didn’t become a junkie until I joined a stamping club with some friends. That led to finding new stamp companies online…. which led to sharing such finds with my friends….which led to them sharing new finds with me…. oh my! my stamping addiction actually started about ten years ago (shortly after i retired from 30 years of teaching) on a trip to CA with my husband. we were walking along in a touristy town and looking in some stores and came across a gift shop that had a small collections of stamp on display. I purchased my first two stamps there, one was a clarinet (my DD plays the clarinet) and an image of OHIO (the state where i live) my collection has grown to 1000’s of stamps and many new friendships through the 3-4 stamping groups that i belong to.

My love affair started, oh you meant with crafting didn’t you?! Ha, I just started this about a year and half ago, and thoroughly enjoy it. I especially love finding new products and new stamps, just wish I could really afford them all. I love making cards for people who aren’t expecting any – and for no reason in particular. 20 years! And that’s saying something, since I turn 30 in a few days. I got a set of wildlife stamps as a kid and stamped them everywhere. My mother encouraged it, buying a few more stamps for cards and bookmarks. My obsession came about in about 2005. A friend was having a Stampin Up party, and I decided to go (even though I was really stressed out–but I’d already RSPV’d YES). Soooo, I went crazy, buying many, many hundreds of $ worth of stamps. The rest is history. I’m a nut about stamping.

Just when you think it couldn’t get any more exciting! I love getting my magazine in the mail each month, but this Stamp It! Cards week has been such a blast. Thank you so much! My love affair with stamping started just a little over 2 years ago. I turned to paper, ink and stamps to help me recover from a year filled with the loss of loved ones and the care of ailing in-laws. I just had to to something fun for myself. I made little Thanksgiving Cards for friends and family and then next thing you know, I have a studio and stamp something every day.

Wowzers! What a prize! I became addicted to stamping many years ago after going to a Stampin’ Up! party. After that, I took some classes at my LSS, and have enjoyed every minute of learning new techniques, finding my next favorite stamp, and making things to share with family and friends. Thanks for a fun week!

Wonderful prize!! I started using stamps only about 2 years ago. I was a scrapbooker to start about 13 years ago, then discovered the magical world of stamping and I was hooked! I occasionally get to do scrapbooking but it seems cards and challenges have taken over my world 🙂 I won’t complain! Good luck everyone!

me to stampin up. I was immediately hooked and this `lady`is now one

I’m new to the world of stamping with under year or so under my belt. I first got started after falling in love with the inspirational work posted on so many talented people’s blogs, and took my own stab at it. I wish I had more time for it, though!

I was a scrapbooker for 10 years when I had my daughter in 07, I never much cared for stamping really. Then I found the Hero Arts website and they had fantastic contests for free stamps. Well I wanted to give it a try so I went to Michaels and picked up my first stamp and watched a few tutorials to learn how to use them. Of course I was hooked…

WOW! This is truely a Royal Stamping Jackpot! My first stamp was for making Christmas tags for presents and then I really got addicted when my boys began their teen years and I started scrapbooking to remember when they liked me! I have always used stamps in my scrapbooking and the added bonus was I could use the stamps to make cards! Well that is how it began and I am now a CTMH consultant and doing workshops every month. Thank you for your blog and all the inspiration it gives me!

Wow – I started stamping just over 4 years ago when my first son was born. I stamped his birth announcements – my first official project. I had NO idea what I was doing, but jumped right in and just did it!
I quickly found that it was a much “quicker” (well it CAN be) craft than the sewing I was currently doing. I got instant satisfaction….and viola, I was hooked! Some 100+ stamp sets later….my sewing things had to move over and make room for the stamps!

My word, I have no willpower when it comes to sentiment stamps. I just love them. I have been stamping for 18 years now. Started by being invited to a home party where I purchased all I needed to make my Christmas cards. It was a poinsettia card. The outline was embossed in gold and colored in with markers. I remember thinking that embossing was the coolest thing I had ever seen. Stamping has fascinated me ever since.

Hi Kelly –
WOW! Great giveaway! My love with rubber stamps started about 35 years ago. I drew a picture of a Unicorn and liked it so much I took it to my local stationery store and had them turn it into a stamp for me. I still have it and I still love it. I put stamps away for several years and then all of a sudden the bug bit me again and I’ve been going strong since then. I’ve become addicted – LOL!

I had my first meeting with a rubber stamp in September 2007. It was at a Scrapbook Expo. My friend and I saw a great Stampin’ Up make-and-take but it was too close to the end of the day to complete it. We gave the demonstrator our e-mail addresses and the rest, as they say, is history. Since then, I have spent too much money on stamps, paper and ink. I justify this all to my husband by telling him that I no longer spend a dime in Hallmark. LOL!

My love affair w/stamps started about 8 or so years ago when I rec’d a card from a stampy friend. When she explained to me how she had made it (masking, stipple brush techniques, gold leafing pen) it seemed like MAGIC! Then I found out that I could make these magical things too!
I’d love to work w/this AMAZING haul of stamps.

I fell in love with stamping 20 years ago and love it even more now! I just can’t believe the number of stamps that are out there! Stamps are so versatile.I love to color in with whatever I have…started with crayons and now have graduated to markers.Would love to own copics but that may be out of reach.

Fabulous prize!
I bought my first stamp (a unicorn) from a store in Greenwich Village that sold all sorts of unicorn-themed products. I still have that stamp and use it.
However, my love of stamping was an offshoot of scrapbooking. I was looking for a tools that could be used repeatedly in different ways, so I went to a Stampin’ Up party, just out of curiousity. My plan was to see the learning curve involved, play a little, and not spend any money. HAH!
Now I’m more a stamper/cardmaker than a scrapbooker.

I am not sure when I first was introduced to rubber stamps. But, I know when I signed up with Stampin’Up!, I could not stop! Now I have ventured out and for the last few years have been utterly obsessed. taken over by ink and rubber and plastic. Yes, even the credit card suffers, Stamping is wonderful, it is a larger portion of my life!

I have been stamping since the early 1990’s following a divorce and needing something to fill my time. I was getting burnt out with cross stitching so wondered in the local stamping store. I got so excited and hooked. A few months later I was invited to a home party and the rest is history. Thanks for the awesome giveaway. I have always wanted to try the Copic markers and the MDS from SU–like a dream come true.

On a whim nearly 3 years ago, a friend and co-worker invited me to her Stampin’ Up party and that was IT!! I couldn’t believe how fun it was to stamp and create original designs. I’ve always loved paper (one of my dreams when I was younger was to own a paper/stationery store) and ink, so the light bulb went on and I’ve become an inhabitant of “Cardworld” (as my husband calls it!) ever since.
This is such a fantastic giveaway. I would be incredibly thrilled to win!!!

Wow-that’s an amazing giveaway! I started stamping when I was engaged to my hubby. His sister invited me to join them one night for some stamping. They were quite a bit older than me and I thought-what a lame old lady thing to do. But…I loved it and loved it so passionatley I have never stopped. I kept the first cards I made and would stare at them for hours. They’ve since moved onto other things and I am the one with a rooom full of papercraft supplies.

Oh, my love affair with stamping started in 2003 when my neighbor’s mom wrote the address down wrong on a birthday card. I took it over to my neighbor’s house where the wife was just getting ready for a stamp camp (she’s a Stampin’ Up! demo). I had no kids at the time and my husband was working on the opposite end of the country for several months so over to her house for stamp camp I went. I’ve been hooked ever since!!

My love of stamping began 2 years ago. I actually signed up to be a CTMH consultant because I LOVE their paper. A few of their acrylic stamp sets came in my consultant kit – so I decided to give them a try. (Previous to this I had only used rubber stamps and had not had much success). Well – I tried the acrylic a few times and WOW!! I was so impressed . . . I’ve been a complete stamp addict ever since!

Goodness…I started stamping well over 15 years ago…but I didn’t do anything worth speaking of…mainly heat embossing on cards…I think that was the newest thing at the time. Loved stamps and ink. About 5 years ago I got back into it, more seriously, learning new techniques and buying a ton more stamps and ink!

i started making a few stamped cards for relatives about 3 years ago. it seemed a little awkward at first…would they like them? and all those worries. but it seems most would rather have a handmade card of any quality than store bought. so now i make all my cards and love it. and of course i have managed to get better at it, so now i am happy to send them.

In November 2007 my cousin entered me in a beauty pageant (for older women) and I won! I decide to document the event and picked up on of those all-in-one beginner kits at my local Wal-Mart. As I started creating pages it occurred to me that I was going through stickers pretty fast, so I went back and got a set of alphabet stamps and an inkpad. Didn’t work out so well. On my next trip to Michaels for crochet supplies I wandered over to the scrapbooking section and discovered clear stamps. I’ve been an addict ever since!

I was a stamper initially when I was in elementary school. Rubber stamps were all the rage and I joined on the bandwagon. They sat totally forgotten until last summer when I remembered how fun it was to stamp (largely in part to seeing so many fabulous cards on blogs!) I then expanded my collection to include acrylic stamps.
Thanks for a fun and inspiring week!

I’ve done a million different crafts over the years, and a friend invited me to come along with her to a stamping convention in 1999… Now I’d seen the pitiful offerings at the big chain stores, and couldn’t imagine how on earth they’d fill a convention hall. Well, I went anyway and was immediately overwhelmed with the images, colors, and amazing displays of creativity! (And hubby probably wishes I’d never gone as we’d be richer and the house would be cleaner 🙂

I think my love affair with stamps began when someone on one of my Cricut Yahoo groups mentioned Papertrey Ink over and over again. I was never a stamper… it took too much room to store the wooden ones and I just hadn’t found a real style that I liked enough to take the plunge. I finally went out to the PTI site and I could hear the Hallelujah chorus in my mind as I perused the wonderful designs and samples in their gallery. Then I visited the design team blogs and I was hooked. I’ve branched out a bit from PTI since then, but PTI is still my favorite. Thanks for the opportunity to win stamps from some great companies!

I am so excited for this Stampimg Royalty Contest! I fell in Love with stamping the first time when I was in middle School and my mom and I went to a Stampin’ Up! party. I was pretty into it for a while but then when I got into High School and college I didn’t have much time. My love affair started way back when I was like 8 and had a pen pal in Italy. I would take national geographic magazines and cut out the really beautiful photo’s and make them into envelopes to mail to Italy. And thus started my addiction to paper crafting!

My interest in stamps really took off just last year. My friend was making awesome handmade cards and I wanted to get in on the action. She then started getting on design teams, and I wanted to do that too. I know enjoy paper piecing my stamps to make great cards for friends and family. And now I’m just starting to go back into scrapbooking so now I look for ways to use those same stamping techniques in my layouts.

The world of stamping was actually introduced to me by my husband! Yes, you read right, my husband. We were involved in various ministries and found ourselves buying cards often. Realizing how expensive it bacame to purchase cards, he was looking for a way to save money.
As he was stamping a card I would find myself interjecting with design ideas to make the cards a bit more interesting. One thing lead to another and I took over the stamp collection and the card making job. That was over ten years ago. I have since ‘trained’ my children to also make cards for others. It has become a family love affair.

Wow! Generous blog candy! My love affair with stamps began as a child. My Grandmother had this vintage set of alphabet animal stamps that my Grandfather played with as a child. (I still have them now that both my grandparents are gone) My Grandmother owned her own business and had lots of spare ink pads. So, my brother and I would amuse ourselves stamping the aminals. Now, I still love stamps and stamping. To me each stamp is a little piece of lovely artwork. Thanks for a chance to win.

I am sure I stamped as a child for art projects, including potato stamping, and with my Girl Scout troops. But, I was swept off my feet and fell hard into this love affair with stamping when I walked into a store with walls covered with rubber stamps in 1994 and asked for an application. And while I was intrigued, for sure, and I loved that I got a pay check to color, I quickly realized that I had fallen, completely fallen, in love with these thousands of fabulous images that I could do anything I wanted with!!! Sixteen years later and I’m still stamping!! :>

Probably 10 yrs. ago I embossed Christmas cards with a friend and then did no stamping until about 1 1/2 yrs. ago. Last March (just had my first blogiversary) I found this online world and I’ve been addicted ever since!!!

WOW, WOW, WOW!! What an ultra generous giveaway!! I would so love to win!! Please pick me!! =)
My love of stamping began when I attended a Stampin’ Up! party at my sisters house almost 7 years ago. I became addicted to stamps and bought many sets, but I didn’t get a whole lot of use out of them until I started making cards a few years ago. Now, they are my go-to item when I want to make a card.

I really don’t remember. I remember buying some stamps at least 10 years ago to make my own stationary. I still have those stamps :0) and they are still some of my favorite! Thanks for the opportunity to win!

I first stamped in elementary school. We cut potatoe into halves, cut pattern on to the cut surfaces, dip in paint and stamp away. I guess back then I must have already fall in love with stamping (art was my favourite subject). These days with such a great selection of stamps and ink and media, stamping has become an art by itself.

Wow! I’m just beginning my love affair with stamps. It started as an uncertain friendship that is slowly growing into full blown adoration.

Well my story is a cute one! I had a friend that was a stampaholic and I was a sewaholic (new word alert!) Well she was convinced I needed to learn to stamp…so I issued her a challenge…..I will stamp a card if you sew an item!! She agreed! So her first….she sewed her hubby a pair of camoflauged pants with elastic waist…she HATED sewing so much that when I went over her house to help her complete the waist part of it she just took a pair of his underware and cut out the elastic and used that! LOL!!!
My turn…..She sets out to teach me to stamp…..okay knew NOTHING of stamping….(now mind you this was about 18 years ago…..she is teaching me all this “lango” and tells me I need to “huff” the stamps! I was shocked…..Why on earth would I want to snort a stamp????? What is wrong with this craft? Well we laughed and laughed and laughed when she explained what “huffing a stamp” really meant…..I figured if I could laugh this much doing a craft it was certainly worth it!!! And here I set 18 years later…..no longer huffing my stamp, but having lots of fun coloring in the images as I LOL!!!! There ya have it!

Oh my, what a fab prize package. I used to make cards with fusible web and fabric. Then I started buying stamps…oh at least 12 years ago. I told my husband I was saving money by making my own Christmas and birthday cards. He didn’t fall for that, even back in the early very lean budget days! What a wonderful creative outlet and just amazing hobby it is.

hmmm …I guess when I first went to a Stamping Up party(three years ago)
with my mom and embossed a tree for a halloween card. It was so awesome.

Wow… can I even remember when the love affair began?? LOL! I’d have to say that when I saw my first acryllic stamp, I fell completely in love and had to have as many as possible. I love being able to see what I was doing so much better – though I do love the images a little more with rubber stamps – I officially fell in love with stamping when I saw the genius of clear stamps. 😀

I started stamping back in 1994. My kids were little and we lived in Kodiak, AK which is an Island. It rains a lot there so sometimes you are stuck inside quite a bit so I started stamping. I believe it was with Stamping UP.
Thanks for this amazing chance to win some wonderful stamps!

It started about 5 years ago when I was in highschool. I used some old stamps that were in a closet on a Valentine’s Day card. Then I got a lot of papercrafting stuff for my birthday. I have continued papercrafting and stamping ever since.

It all started 10 years ago when I was working at a hobby shop and there were many request for rubber stamps. So we got a few catalogs and I fell in love!! The first thing I did was teach myself how to heat emboss:) The first 100 cards I made were all heat embossed with gold embossing powder and a touch of color!!

I probably started about 20 years ago and then put it away for a while. Styles have changed but the basics are the same.

As a child my Mother always told me I was not creative. She said I didn’t have it in me. Most kids had crayons and coloring books at least once in their lives. My Mom said “why waste the money. You’re not any good at it anyway”. Arts and crafts time scared the bejeezus out of me! I didn’t want to let anyone know how bad I was. Items made at school were NEVER displayed at home. She said she couldn’t have clutter around.
So I grew up believing I couldn’t do anything creative. Whenever I was invited to home parties that involved crafting I was always came up with an excuse as to why I couldn’t go. Very recently, a good friend said to me “if you can pick up a pencil and cut with a pair of scissors then you too can do what I do”. She sat me down and guided me through stamping and cutting candles and other shapes for a card. When we were finished I couldn’t believe I had created a beautiful birthday card! My friend gifted me with the book we had used. As I looked through the pages I found myself thinking that maybe, just maybe, I found something that I could do. It’s opened up a whole new world.
Oh, and the card I made. I just couldn’t bring myself to give it away to anyone. So, I proudly display it on a shelf in my living room. It’s visible to everyone who comes to visit but mostly as a reminder to myself that I TOO CAN MAKE SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL!

“You make me smile”, I love the Ali Edwards set. I’ve been stamping for 5 years. It all started when I was invited to a Stampin Up party. I was hooked. I have been scrapbooking since 1998, so the transition to other paper crafts was easy. 🙂
Thanks for all the inspiration. I’m in awe of the many talented people who post on your blog!
I’m keeping my fingers crossed, 🙂

I have had a somewhat smallish stamp collection for quite a while, but in the last year, with my limited craft time, I have started focusing on making mostly cards. With this new paper craft focus I have become a stamp junky. I love stamping sentiments, and little cute icons. I enjoy playing with texture adding embossing powder. I am now wishing for copic markers for my anniversary so I can start experimenting with layering color, making my quickly growing stamp collection even more useful.

I only discovered stamping and cardmaking about 7 years ago, when I was 21 or so and saw a flier for a class/demonstration for Stampin Up. I called and the demonstrator came and did a class for me and a few of my friends and it was SO much fun! I hosted two more then signed up to be a demonstrator myself, then life (and my being an introvert) got in the way and I am no longer a demonstrator. But since then I have become a lover (and hoarder) of all the different brands and styles and lines of stamps and crafting products.

Wow – like the best prize package ever! Let’s see – it would have been 2002 at a Stampin’ Up party. I was amazed at how something I saw as kids’ play could be so beautiful and artsy and professional looking and EASY! I now have a lovely “Wall of Stamps” in my craft room, and I’m always looking for more =)

I would love to win! One day a few years ago – I remember saying, “I’m a scrapbooker – what do I need with rubber stamps?” when invited to a Stampin’ Up party. The second I put ink to stamp and stamp to paper, I was HOOKED! I love to stamp and all my family/friends know that I will be the one to make a handmade card for them. :o)

I’ve always loved other people’s stamped projects, though I never figured mine would look half as good- I admit I bought a rubber stamp here and there and would attempt a project or two and they would look so awful, I would PIF the stamp to someone else!!
Then a few years ago my friend Theresa moved to town. She was a CTMH consultant, and was not planning on setting her scrap room up for a few weeks, so she let me borrow her entire stash of stamps and ink pads.
I had heard of acyrlic stamps before but had not quite grasped the concept of them until she let me borrow hers…I’ve been hooked on acrylics since 2007 🙂

My love affair with stamping began in 2004. I had taken family medical leave and gone to take care of my mother who had been diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer. On one of my sister’s visits, she took me to a stamp show at the fairgrounds. I was hooked. I got some supplies and took over half of the dining room table. It really helped me to de-stress and maintain my sanity during a very sad and horrific time of my life. I have been in love with stamping ever since!

My stamping began in about 1999 when i discovered Hero Arts stamps and since then it’s become rather obscene the number of stamps I have and the stuff to go with them to make cards. But I love it and can’t remember when I last bought a Hallmark! Love the stamps in the giveaway – would love to win! Thanks.

I think I fell in love with stamps 15 years ago when I made my husbands and mine’s first Christmas cards. I even heat embossed them over a stove element. Talk about the stone age ( I have a heat tool now!) Would love to win this COOL prize! 🙂

I “discovered” stamping last year in about November! I grabbed one or two little sets and tried to see what I could do. Feeling stunted, I’ve since shifted my craft budget from another hobby and have several sets of stamps, papers and inks… and need to make more time to play now! 😀

My love obsession of stamps surprisingly started when I had the chicken pox in third grade! That long ago! Like 20 years ago! I got my first stamp set from my mom and it was all over from there. I then got my embossing gun and powers that I still have to this day, can’t you believe it?! Thanks for this awesome giveaways, the lucky winner is def going to be in stamping heaven! 🙂

My love of stamping began in 2006, when I attended my first Stampin’ Up! workshop, held by a friend of my mom’s. That year, I hand made all my Christmas Cards (86 of them). The love of stamping continued and I hosted my own SU workshop in March, 2007 and then became an SU demonstrator in May, 2007! It’s been all up hill from there. I just love the versitility of stamping and paper crafting! Thanks for the opportunity to win this awesome prize!

I have been a stamp lover for about 4 years now but am just now getting into using them more often. It took me way too long to get over the fear of messing up but practice is the only thing that makes perfect, so I finally decided to dive right in. 🙂

My love for stamping started 3 years ago at a Stampin Up demonstration party. And I’ve never looked back. I became a SU demonstrator for a year and then just kept on collecting from rubber stamps, to acrylic and to cling. I love the new techniques, the mediums you can use to brighten up a card. I’m not a avid stamper but I’ve been collecting and take every chance I get to practice the craft. Would love to add this to my collection. Good luck to all!

What an amazing giveaway!!! Yeah, I’d be in stampin’ heaven if I was the lucky winner. My introduction to stamping began about 3 or 4 years ago when my friend invited me to her Stampin’ Up party. And that was also my intro to card-making. I had only done scrapbooking up to that point, but I became addicted to making cards and other paper crafting goodies, which I still love today.

It was 1999, when I first came to the US. I visited a stamp store with my future mother-in-law and walked out with my first 2 stamps. Since then i have loved this craft. A year later I can’t believe how it has changed our lives…not to mention everything we’ve learned beyond stamps! inks, bling! dies, you name it – we both now have our own craftrooms in our homes…My mom & I do so much more together now – thanks to crafting!

Wow what an amazing prize. Thanks for the opportunity.
My love of stamping started about 18 months ago. I decided I was done buying cards and that I wanted to make my own. I am still a novice and my work is no where near what I would like it to be but I still love doing it. Once I discovered stamps such as The Greeting Farm, Magnolia, Swiss Pixies and Gorjuss Girls, my stamping addiction went into overdrive.
To me the best part of stamping is all the fabulous friends I have made.

My stamping obession started in 1995 when I was trying to find some fabric that was used for a pillow I wanted to make. I couldn’t find the exact fabric because it was stamped. I ended going to a stamp store (to find the stamp used) on the day they put out all their christmas stamps…the rest is history. Thousands of stamps later and countless inks and other accessories later I still love this hobby. Oh, and I still have that stamp but I never made the pillow.

As a little kid, I loved stamping ink to paper. I’d stamp with my Mom’s red ink pad with anything. Then I’d stamp on papers with my friends when we played “teacher. But I didn’t develop an addiction until 1996, when I was invited to a Stampin’ Up party. I soon discovered all kinds of different ways to use my stamps by taking classes, going to Stamp Conventions and reading every magazine/book I could. IT was a few years later that I ventured into Scrapbooking. But stamping has always been my passion.

My stamp obsession began about 5 years ago, quite innocently. I began selling my handmade jewelry at a local gift shop. The owner had her own ‘stamping bar’ set up there for customers to use! It was a wonderfully creative idea…once I tried it, aah yeah, I was hooked.

For me it started in the spring of 2006, when I met a lovely consultant from CTMH….her love of stamping was addicting. She taught me so many different things on how to differently work with stamps. I moved two years after meeting her to another state but I continue to use the knowledge she taught me and now I am teaching friends and co-workers the art of stamping. How each one of us can take one stamp set and make it our own creation.
I love Papercraft Mag, and this is another reason why!!! Woohoo…Good Luck everyone!!

i’m new to stamping. i have been admiring stamped designs in the pages of paper crafts for years now, and have been slowing building a stash of mostly unused stamps for quite a while now – hoarding them, looking at them, touching them, but not actually using them KWIM?! i am beginning to branch out and try them out now. thanks for the opportunity to win… this is the mother-of-all-giveaways!

Wow let me think back! It has been a long time. Stamping and my love of stamps started at a SU party that I went to, just like many of the others. I did buy some stamps and I was hooked. But I only dabbled and made cards from time to time. Now it’s my passion I love it. I quit smoking and I need to keep busy! I love this package it is so jam packed anyone would be THRILLED to receive!!

I used to buy Golden Retriever stamps when I saw them at craft fairs and used them on envelopes to decorate them. That was about it. Then I got invited to a home party demonstration of Stampendous stamps and while visiting a friend visited a stamp store where I found a copy of RSM magazine that opened the world on online stamp groups to me in 1989. That is when the stamping world really opened up to me and I was able to find different stamp stores, etc. I’ve been stamping ever since!

I think I have a precise “date stamp”. My love affair to stamping began on the day Hero Arts started their official blog, about a year and a half ago. I especially love the works of Jennifer McGuire, but all the Hero Arts gals are super talented. I also enjoy Dawn McVey’s work with PTI.

My love affair officially began 25 years ago when I was a little girl and my grandmother used to take me to craft fairs, and she always bought me a new rubber stamp from a vendor who was always there. To this day I still have all those stamps and they are my favorites!

My love affair with stamps began when I used a Close to my Heart acrylix stamp at a party about 3 years ago. Wow, talk about love at first use! I had used woodies before but hated that I couldn’t see through them to where I was stamping but once I used that clear stamp I just simply fell in love. What has allowed my affair to flourish is that they store in such a small amount of space that I can have my 350++ set collection in just two small storage towers. I have to admit I even love the SMELL of a brand new acrylix set just waiting for me to get it all inky! Yep, after all these years they still make my heart go pitter, patter!

what a great package!
I joined a moms group Right after I had my first baby about 4 years ago, lucky for me all the gals were rabid stampers/scrappers and they introduced me to the craft! I had always been fascinated by stamping but always felt a little overwhelmed, where do you start?? now 4 years later, I am creating a craft room in my house that I LOVE to bring “newbies” into to introduce them to scrappin/stampin and show them its soooo easy to get started, not to mention a fun creative outlet! hoping to become a demonstrator this year so I can use classes to keep spreading the love!
happy friday!

My stamping affair began very slowly about 3 years. One of my good friends is a CTMH consultant and I started buying alphabet stamps to do titles. About 200 stamp sets later I can say I’m hooked!

It was love at the first stamping. When I was around 5, my mom was a elementary school teacher – 1st grade – in our home country. By that time, there was no printers, xerox or so. So, teachers usually stamped a letter from the abc on students notebooks before every lesson. These letters had a design of something related to that letter – the letter B (lower case), for instance, was the belly of a baby. I remember being in love with them: the power to replicate a design on my own, where I want to put it – a piece of paper, a notebook, or even on my skin… I almost can feel the smell of the inkpad. Tks for the opportunity to remember these lovely moments!

I never thought I was interested in stamps…until I received one in a swap about 10 years ago. It was a sad little flower that looked more like a weed, but that started the obsession!

My love affair began many years ago when my children were preschoolers and we stamped for our Art Class here at our homeschool. My serious love affair began about 10 years ago when I attended my first Stampin’ Up! workshop and went on to host several over these years! Thank you for the opportunity to try and win! Someone will be very happy!! ~Amy S.~

It started when 2 other friends and I started getting together to stamp and we loved the work and the time together. It has made our friendships solid and complimented our individual creativity. We challenge each other with the love of stamping. Can’t wait to share each new thing we learn with each other….love or obsession?

My love for stamping started in 2005 when I was on eBay looking for a good deal on Mrs Grossman’s holiday stickers to make my first ever holiday cards. I met a seller who also sold Hero Arts stamps and I decided to buy a set thinking it would be much cheaper than going with stickers which you can only use one time! OMG was I hooked!
What an awesome prize package – thanks for a chance to win it!

What a fantastic giveaway. I’ve been ‘collecting’ stamps for a couple of years now. I got caught up in the frenzy on a message board and started buying. Just recently I’ve actually used a few for cards and gradually am buying pens, markers, etc. until I get a good feel for stamping. There are so many stamps ‘out there’ but the ones you’re giving away are great. I seem to have a hard time finding many with phrases. Thanks for the opportunity. I’m a follower now too.

My affair with stamps began 25 years ago when I start teaching. I was always looking for the perfect stamp for each student’s paper. I had sets of alphabet stamps in the classroom, and my students loved creating name tags with those stamps or stamping their names on their belongings. I then branched out into making cards, and my affair with stamps continues to this day!

I think my official love of stamping begain with attendance to my first Stampin’ Up party about 12 years ago! I got myself a set of Christmas-themed stamps to make cards for the holidays, and I haven’t stopped making my own cards since then…sorry Hallmark!

My mom always encouraged creativity, so I started stamping at a very young age… I still have most of my first stamps. This means my craft collection has been building since I was about 6 years old!! (my poor husband) When I was about 9, my mom bought me 2 rainbow ink pads. Each one has a dozen different colors. These became the treasures of my stamp stash. What I find totally unbelievable, is that the ink is still good today. They have survived over 20 years… When I use them, the smell of the ink brings back so many wonderful memories. Thank you Mom!

I’m going to date myself here, but I first fell in love with stamping in about 1984 or so. I did a little here and there and also did scrapbooking. Then 2 years ago I discovered Papertrey Ink and re-kindled the love of stamping in a gigantic way! This week has been fun on the Paper Crafts Blog.

My love affair with stamping began about 12 years ago, when I made my first home made Christmas cards! A good friend taught me how to use chalk over versamark to get a cool colored look and I was hooked! There are soooo many things you can do with stamps and soo many cool techniques to use! Thanks for this fun week of looking at stamping!

Oh goodness…I have loved creating things, stickers, paper, glue, stamps since I was probably 8 or so. I didn’t get serious about stamping until my mom and I (yes I stamp and scrapbook with my mom) started going to card classes at our local scrapbook store. I got hooked on Stampin’ UP and now my tastes have changed to include many other stamping brands. I love stamping now and using different techniques!

It’s been so long, I’m not sure I can accurately pinpoint the time. I remember stamping on my own for so long and then I went to a D.O.T.S. party and learned how to add color and create cards that looked really good. It had to be in the early nineties. I got a little too busy to stamp much when my twins were born but then I got back into it in the late nineties. I still have a few of the original stamps I bought back in the dark ages. Now I teach scrap-booking and card-making and am passing the love of stamping on to my 5 yo granddaughter who spent part of her snow-day today stamping at her home while I stamped in my home.

I remember it very clearly…I invited an SU demo to an all day fundraising crop I organized…then I had a party and I was hooked…that was about 8 years ago now! WOW If you had told me then that I would someday convert my dining room into a craft studio, I’d have thought you were crazy!

My love affair with stamping began when my husband bought me a Cricut for Christmas. I hadn’t even asked for it. That led to trying to learn more about it on the internet and following the Cricut message board and then to blogs. As I did that I found much of it related to cards not just scrapping. And cards led to the fact that many people used stamps and cuttlebug on the cards. And that led to needing both of those things!

I started Stamping in 2003 when I joined a card swap on a scrapbook board. I had never stamped a card before but I knew it was something I had to try. So, I researched some websites online and fell in love with all the products out there. I attended my first Stampin Up demonstration and the rest is history. I love using stamps in my scrapbook pages.

I ‘met’ stamping when my good friend decided to become an SU demonstrator. It was love at first sight! When she got her demo kit, we played for hours. I was hooked! She moved away and I became a demo, too. Have since left SU, but am still in love with stamping. In fact, I still teach it to anyone who wants to learn!

I swore I wasn’t going to become a stamper. Said no, it’s not me. But then, I bought my mother some foam stamps as a gift back about 2000. And then, I was helping her use them. And then, I went and bought myself some. Now, probably more than 1000 stamps later, I’m officially an addict.

I was introduced to rubber stamping in 2001 while waiting for a mamogram! I took along a scrapbook magazine to read while waiting, when the tech noticed and asked if I stamped. She gave me a Stampin Up catalog to look at. Couldn’t wait to find a demo. Attended a stamp camp the next weekend…the rest is history!
Awesome prize!

My first stamping experience was in Sunday School. The teacher had cut out the fish symbol from a sponge & made a “stamp”. Oh my, there was a school of fish on my paper! ha. As an adult, I found the wonderful world of stamping when I retired two years ago. What a delightful world it is too! I make cards for Operation Write Home for our deployed service men & women. What a joy. Thank you for the chance to win this awesome package of goodies! Wow!

I first started stamping back in the 90s when some stamps were on foam blocks 🙂 I even had a little compact with a mini stamp set that you would put each stamp on the end of a pencil and there was a tiny ink pad to make things ha ha! For a while after I moved onto other crafts but im back and trying to improve my skills ha ha!

My love affair started when I was a young girl. My Dad & I went to check out a local craft store that opened up in our area. They were doing grand opening demos throughout the store. I stopped at the demo where she was showing how to use embossing powder & a heat gun. I bought my first supplies that day & have been hooked and in love ever since! 🙂

I’ve been stamping since I was young with my Aunt. Now that I’m “grown-up” I’ve gotten back into it with scrapbooking and making homemade cards. I haven’t been able to create lately since we’re moving to a new house so am excited to get my craft room put together and start creating. What a wonderful gift it would be to receive this amazing group of stamps and products. My five year old son also loves creating stuff with stamps. He always has to make his friends a card or piece of art before going to there house for a play date. I love that he likes to create with me.

I feel in love with stamping when clear stamps hit the market. The wood block stamps always scared me that I would mess up and stamp crooked. But then the clear stamps came along and I could see where I was stamping! That was it, I was addicted! I don’t think I have met a clear stamp yet that I didn’t love!

My love affair with stamping began about a year ago. I have been a scrapbooker for about 8 years, started making cards a little over a year ago, then started stamping after spending time with a friend who stamps. I’ve expanded my stamping from cards to scrapbooking. I’m still learning, but collecting stamps is almost as addictive as collecting paper!

I guess I’d have to go back 30 years to the little dove stamp I carved out of a square eraser. I used it on my “CAS” Christmas cards, though that term wasn’t known back then.

I have loved stamps since as far back as I can remember….but, they all said that the love would not last. I believed them, and gave it up. After all it must be just “pupppy” love, right? I wanted to look cool and fit it.
Then one day last year I sensed an emptiness inside, a void that ached to be filled. I thought I’d try my hand at scrapbooking, some how I ended up buying some stamps. Oh the joy, of finding an old friend…. I think this time though it’s for keeps 😉
( LOL….thought I’d make it interesting 😉 )

My love affair with stamping began almost 15 years ago when a man from my office where I worked brought in some cards his wife had made and put them on diplay in the lunchroom. I couldn’t believe what beautiful cards she had made and knew nothing about stamps so I call her or actually her friend who was a DOTS now Close to My Heart consultant. That is when it started and it has never stopped since. I must say that it has fizzled from time to time when I lost my mojo but has always come back strong. Right now my passion for stamping is at its strongest. I guess you could say with all the great tools and supplies available these days it would be hard to lose the fire and passion for creating. Plus I guess it is in my blood.
Can you believe that after all these years I have never bought or tried glimmer mist or Copics yet? It would be a true blessing & delight win such na huge and wonderful package. God bless!

My love affair started at a craft fair I found someone selling stamps and I bought a few. Then then summer I found out that they sold their stamps at a small crafty type store. I found the store and found out they had stamping classes about once a month. I joined the classes and the rest is history. I also to a class with Christine Angeli through my local parks and rec and I was hooked. I went on her 3 day cruise once too. So much to do and so little time and money!

About five years ago I walked into Your MaineStamper in Winthrop, Maine out of curiosity because the sign said “artist’s rubber stamps”. I had no idea what that meant. It didn’t take me long to figure out that I loved what I saw, that I knew I could do this. I bought a big bag full of papers, stamps, and inks and the rest is history. Within a year I began teaching classes at the store. Now that I’m retired from a teaching/school librarian career, I’m teaching at least once a week at Your Maine Stamper. I follow lots of blogs and read lots of magazines each month looking for class ideas. I keep a personal daily journal which I post on my blog (http://notesfromthewoodshed.blogspot.com/) and I blog regularly for the store. I am always looking for new products, new ideas, new techniques. Thanks for the chance to win a truly fabulous prize! Anne, yourmainestamper

How amazing are all these gifts!!! My real love affair with stamping actually has been building but I’d say kicked in full gear in November when I went to my 1st “stamp camp” with my local SU demonstrator. Although I’d tried someone else, I was more frustrated than anything with her and now I’m actually LOVING stamping and the many new projects and techniques she teaches us each month. It makes me always looking at publications such as your own for my own ideas.

My love affair began with a simple Cardart kit from Hero Arts and a few wood block stamp sets I got on clearance. My old cards seem so “basic” now, but I still love them. I really cannot get enough of stamping: pushing ink onto paper and getting a cute or pretty image is always a thrill.

I’ve been a scrapbooker for over 10 years…and a cardmaker for about 4 years now. When I’m not stamping, I am reading magazines, browsing blogs, and thinking about what I want to do next! My love affair with stamping actually started when I was 15, which was about 1990. Of course I didn’t have a lot of confidence back then so I gave it up easily. I started in again about 7 or 8 years ago, after I took up scrapbooking. I held off for awhile because I knew once I started I would become hooked, big time. All these years and many stamp sets, cards, and scrapbooks later I am still in love with stamping and paper crafts in general.

Since I can remember, I have loved crafts and especially paper crafts. I have always had a stamp somewhere in my collection. However, it wasn’t until my wedding 1 1/2 years ago that I started truly getting into it! I have bought the Big Shot, some Nestabilities, and have been searching for great stamps ever since. This was the first year I made great Christmas cards and my good friend even commented on how my cards have improved in the last year. So excited to be in the running for this incredible prize package!

Wowza! What an awesome giveaway! I’ve been a stamper for about 6-7 years but I really fell in love with stamping about 3-4 years ago when I started stretching myself with new techniques and different stamp companies, especially when I learned that Gina K Designs was practically in my backyard! I fell hard for her stamps and haven’t looked back since!

My love for stamping began when I decided to make place cards for my wedding. I carved my own monogram stamp out of this little pink block with an xacto knife. I wanted to try embossing, so I bought an embossing stamp pad and a container of silver at the store. Not realizing until I got home that I had to get a heat gun as well, I ended up heating all 150 place cards over a light bulb- not recommended! It was hot and I was seeing stars from the light. But they came out great, and no one knew it was my first time!

My stamping obsession began about 3 1/2 years ago after my son was born. I lived in a different town at the time and the local Parks & Rec. Dept. offered a Card Making class in the evening. The instructor was a SU demonstrator, but couldn’t mention that during the class. Back then – it much have been around 1999 – all cards were white or creme colored with different colored ink stamped on them. Wow, how far the industry has come from back then! Look at all the colors and patterned card stock we have now along with bling, embellishments, mists, glitter, flock etc.

Oh, pick me, pick me! What a wonderful bunch of goodies! I just love stamping and have been at it for about 15 years! It started with two stamps and some ink and paper and grew and grew! I make all our cards for any occasion and also as many gifts as I can with cards, beads, knitting, sewing, etc. If I am making something with my hands, I am happy!

About 5 years ago a friend invited me to a CTMH party. I had tried stamping before and didn’t have much success. Stamping with the clear stamps made it much more fun for me. I have been hooked ever since!
My next set I want to purchase is that “Everyday Button Bits” set from Papertrey Ink, that is if I don’t win it here of course. 😉 After seeing all of the great ideas in the Stamp It! cards. I’ve just gotta have it!

I can clearly remember when I saw my first sets of Technique Tuesday acrylic alphabet stamps at my LSS a few years back – Make Believe and Wayfarer were the fonts. That’s when it started for me.
Before that, I’d bought the occasional stamp, but storage was always an issue. Since that time I have amassed quite a “few” more stamps – both acrylic and non-acrylic. My LSS fed the obsession by offering a couple of stamping classes, and there was no turning back.
Sadly, my LSS is no longer around, but my love for stamping continues.
This is an amazing giveaway, and thanks so much for the enabling my stamping love. 😉

I stumbled into stamping four years ago when I moved to a new town and became friends with a girl who happened to be a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator. She never held any workshops – she was her own best (and only) customer. But she invited me over to make projects and I’ve been hooked ever since. 🙂

It all started with one Tweety Bird rubber stamp about 7 years ago and just took off from there. Stamping and cards and even scrapbooking go hand in hand. What wonderful stamps to win – and a girl can never have enough stamps. TY

My love affair with stamps began when I was just 9 years old! I went to a family conference for my Dad’s work and they had a bunch of workshops set up for kids. One of the workshops was all about rubber stamping. I fell in love instantly. When I got home I went and bought my first stamp, a panda bear with some bamboo, an embossing gun and one color powder. It must have been destiny, as stamping is still an integral part of my crafting!!

I started out by scrapbooking and was introduced to papercrafting 5 yrs ago by my good friend Annette. She had every stamp and crafting product, she was so willing to share her knowledge and supplies with me until I accumulated my own. We have since moved several times and she remains my “go to gal”on everything crafty. She introduced me to your magazine and gave me an “extra” copy. She introduced me to Papertrey Inc., a new favorite of mine. We still swap cards every few months, I love to create and will always be thankful for a good friend who was willing to share her love of stamping and crafting with me. Share your passion for stamping with others and we’ll all be that much better for it.

My love affair with stamping began in spring 2001. My hobby at that time was dollhouse miniatures and another woman in the club was an SU demo. We made a miniature baby mobile using farm animal stamps and shrink plastic. Then I went to one of her scrapbooking workshops and was hooked! Soon after I signed up as a demo myself and only quit last summer. Stamping rocks!

I started with rubber stamps when I was about 10 and found my name on a stamp. Rebecca wasn’t popular so I was thrilled. By the time I was a teenager, I had a few more stamps and of course, a rainbow inkpad! But my love affair started when I was at a craft and sewing show (for the sewing) when I saw a set of silhouette stamps from Hero Arts being demo’d using Versamark and chalk. I was sure this was the prettiest thing ever and bought all everything on the spot. I haven’t stopped since!

I remember one of my first stamps came with a Barbie doll when I was little. It looked like a little purse, but when you took the top off, it was a stamp. I guess everything snowballed from there. 🙂

I remember as a very little girl having a stamp set that I loved and then lost in the desert. Literally – we were on a tour of the southwest, and I realized it had been left behind at the truck stop where we had lunch. It was a bitter moment, and I never really got over it, I don’t think. 32 years passed, and I never saw stamps anywhere, so they passed out of my memory. But in 2004, I found ’em again!
And I haven’t looked back since!!!
My motto is: “If it can’t be stamped, it can’t stay!”
Thank you for being so generous and giving us an opportunity to feed our rubber addiction!!!

The start of my stamping addiction? OH YES, I REMEMBER IT WELL! Sept. 1979 age 5 Ms.Mills 1st grade class. At each school days end Ms Mills would come around to each child 1 by 1. There I stood…long blazing red hair in side ponytails, sporting knee socks and a plaid poly mini-dress. My arm fully extended waiting to see if my behavior that day had earned me the coveted good behavior HAND STAMP. My heart palpitated as she got closer…my little hands shook, cold & clamy I stood full of wonder. IF I got one, WHICH would it be? Superstar? A+ Student? GREAT Kid? Thump, thump, thump, she was right next to me! I closed my eyes, unable to take it any longer…and then…That Feeling…The slight pressure and cool moisture of the ink on my hand. Ahhhhh relief. With my chest puffed out with pride I marched home each day to show off my days accomplishment. From there…I was a prisoner to the Wonderful World of Stamping! Be it my dads office PAID, INVOICE & TO DO stamps with the massive pad of red ink to the coolest ever date stamp with wheels to change the numbers or moms name & address stamp, I WAS HOOKED! Many ask the question is it nature or nurture…I would have to say BOTH! By nature I have my passion for stamping but I must nurture my passion with new product and inspiration! Thanks for reading and a Fabulous Contest ;

Stamping! Colors! Creativity! Love it! Me and my sister started to stamp years and years ago…….in fact, we have been told a cocain habit would be cheaper than our craft habit!!!! I used to get in trouble for using her tupperware to hold the embossing powder! We like to use different techniques and just hang out together making cards. We are 47 & 45 and have been best friends all our lives. If I win….I will share with my sis…..of course!

I think we all loved stamps throughout our lives right?! I remember having Hello Kitty stamps in grade school. Now my daughters have them. Although I remember integrating stamps into my scrapbooking around the end of 2002 when a coworker introduced me to Stampin’ Up. I’ve been hooked ever since. I like clear stamps the best (because I don’t have very good eye/hand coordination, lol) but still use my rubber stamps too!

I first fell in love with stamping when I attended my first Close To My Heart home gathering in 2000. I found that I could create beautiful cards with very little talent and supplies. I have since discovered that you can never have too many supplies and you never stop finding something new to learn or buy. I am very passionate about this craft and plan on continuing it for many years.

I’m very, very new to stamping… just since October 2009…while I have been scrapbooking for years on and off… it wasn’t until I started stamping that I really fell in love with all things papercrafting (I can’t begin to tell you how much money I’ve spent on this … ummm, “hobby” since October!!)…. I would so love to win this prize to add to my already growing collection. Thanks for the chance to enter!

I had tried stamping many years ago and thought this is okay, but who would want to spend so much money on stamps…then about 5 years ago and I was invited to Stampin UP stamp camp by my co-workers’ daughter, who had just signed up to be a demo…so I went thinking ‘I would just be going to support her’…many years and $$’s later… it is now my hobby, obsession, and provides the peace of mind I need in my crazy life.

Indeed i’ve gone to heaven! What a great prize! My love for stamping began a few years ago when I started making card from my scraps. I was already making scrapbookpages and didn’t know what to do with al those left over pieces of paper. At the bookstore I browsed through a PC magazine, bought it, read it and tried it out. I was hooked. I just love it. Although I found it difficult sometimes, I keep on trying. I now have a subscription and soke up al the inspiration every month. Thank you!

The day I discovered stamping will never be forgotten. I was invited to a Stampi’ Up party while I was in grad school (1993) and fell in love instantly. My head had always been full of ideas but I lacked the talent to draw and get them out. Stamping solved the problem. Someone else took care of the drawing and I could focus on design and colors. I promised myself I would not go overboard and spend a ton of money on supplies – this would be a cost efficient hobby. Ha! Now I dream of having a whole room for my obsession. Stamping is one of the joys of my life.

Wow, this question makes me feel old! I became hooked on stamps after visiting a really cool shop called Stamp-a-teria, at Pier 39 in San Francisco – way back in 1992 or so. The store (unfortunately) isn’t there anymore, but I HAD to buy some stamps everytime we stopped by. I suppose you could say that was my “seed” collection, which has now exploded all over my craft area. =) You can never have too many stamps, that’s what I say!

That is an easy one. Well I always love stickers as I had a collection when I was a kid so crafting was always my thing. The real passion began when a co-worker introduced me to Stampin Up. I became a demonstrator two years later. I then started to blog and began to introduce myself to the very BIG world of stamps out there! Oh how dangerous it can be but sooo much fun! This prize package is most definitely a stampers dream. Thanks so much for the opportunity to win.

My love affair started over 7 yrs ago. I had only been out of the hospital for 2 weeks with my brand new little son when I went to my first workshop. I don’t know how thrilled he was at the time but I learned very quickly how to stamp one handed while nursing him! But that didn’t stop me and my love of stamping grew and grew. My son now loves for me to make cards and items for his teachers and has even made cards along side me. I guess that first workshop didn’t hurt him at all. Thanks for a chance to win the giveaway, you are going to make someone very happy. I’d love to have this show up at my door!

My relationship with stamping has grown and blossomed in the last few years. I started when wooden stamps were the norm and they scared the poo out of me. As the years past, I became more comfortable with using stamps and then voila…clear stamps! I could see what I was doing! I’ve added stamping in as a necessity in my card making.

My stamp love began when I was less than 5 and my mom made potato stamps with my sister and me. I can’t remember all the things we stamped, but I was interested in the different effects on paper, depending upon the amount of paint used. After that, I’d often ask for stamp sets for presents.

I believe that my stamping obsession began in first grade. I can vividly remember the day that we used our hands to stamp pictures for our parents. I was so amazed with with the ink on our hand (and even though we were not allowed to look at the ink, for some reason, I quickly looked anyways). Ever since that day I have enjoyed stamping and I love using stamps in all of my cards!

I didn’t ‘get’ why people stamped until 2001 when the Human Resources manager made a hand stamped birthday card for a woman in my department. The recipient put it on display on her desk, along with some store bought cards and little gifts we had all given her. The card the HR manager made stood out like no other…it was all I could see….it was like a bright light stood out from behind it and made a halo effect around the card. I swear I heard a Hallelujah chorus singing!! I GOT IT!!! Now I know why people stamp!!! Slowly but surely, I’ve come into my own and now I’m known as the “Crafty Chic” around the office and people actually commission ME to make things for them using paper and stamps! From wedding invitations to boxes, to cards! Looking back on all the crafts I have done my entire life, my love of paper and stamps has been the ONLY one that stuck around!

I’ve always been a ‘Crafty’ lady, dabbling in all sorts of stitchery and such, but I found my passion after attending a Stampin’ Up night with a co-worker. It’s now been two years since, and I am still having such fun. I’m still going to classes at my local paper craft store and Stampin’ Up demo’s, still learning new techniques (& buying new products of course) and best of all meeting lots of friendly talented people. I’ve been in love with stamps for a long time. Actually having the courage to use them-thus stamping, haven’t got there yet. This week has been so full of wonderful inspiration I have cleaned the “room”, organized my stamps and supplies and intend to spend the weekend giving it a try.

Love the jackpot of stamps. As far as when I started I don’t remember exactly when it has been many years. But absolutely love it and it is always part my cards and scrapbook pages. Would love to win this jackpot of prizes to add and support my addiction of stamping.

In 2000 I designed my retirement office for my photography hobby and only made “Jan’s Joy” photo notecards. In 2006, I walked into “Stampin’ Cat Studios’ and an obsession was born! My passion has taken over my studio and half of our 12′ hall closet, as well as one entire wall of our garage! Love to make cards and share how I made them!!!

I’ve been making cards for at least 8 years…I remember talking to my husband about starting to make my own cards…and he said,”this is a good idea, but if you decide to put money into this, you can’t purchase cards fromHallmark.” Yikes – that was really difficult for me because I loved going to Hallmark, spending hours looking at all the cards before making that special purchase. – So long story short – I’m proud to say…I have not bought a card from Hallmark in 8 years.

What a wonderful giveaway! Hope I’m the lucky winner, ha ha!
My love of stamping started accidentally. About 5 years ago I developed a passion for cardmaking. Only two stores (other than Michael’s) in my area carried cute designer papers and fun crafty items. As it turned out, one of those stores was a stamping store. At first I thought, “what’s the big deal”?
“Why would anybody spend all that $ on items they may only use a few times”? I realize how naive I was as I now have a serious love for all things stamping!

Wow!! That is an AMAZING prize package!!!
My love of stamping started when I was about 8 and a babysitter of mine who does all things paper related and some other crafts as well used to do a different craft with me every day after school for whatever length of time was required to really have fun with it. We made our own stamps out of everything you can imagine (my favourite being the ones we made out of shoe insoles!!). It was only supposed to be a week long thing but turned into a couple months or more where even when we tried to move onto a different craft we were still going back to the stamping and incorporating it in somehow. Even origami ended up with us deciding we could make much better patterned origami paper than what was available at the time. Silk screen tshirts ended up being a total wash since I decided it would be more fun to stamp on the tshirts with fabric paint. Even flower pressing just got mixed into it by the flowers being added to a stamped background or greeting.
Now I have my own craft studio (section of my living room) and cannot wait until my kids are old enough to teach them all about stamping!!
Thanks for the chance!

My love for stamping started with a name stamp, believe it or not. I found a stamp with my daughters name on it 21 years old, the year she was born. So of course, being my first child, I had to have it! I though that was the cooloest thing. I bet I bought 15 colors of ink over the next few weeks, trying to make it tye died, or rainbow or just mixing colors. Of course them, being green behind the ears, I had no idea that I could just use makers and color them any color, but live and learn. My baby is getting married in a few months and I already have some wedding stamps and I am ready to use them. (sort of) I am ready to stamp, not so much the moving out part of it all.
Thanks for chance to win!

I have always loved cards – every since I was a kid!! (I still have cards I saved from my childhood, including cards from my grandparents who have long sinced passed away.) My dream as a kid was to own or at the very least work in a Hallmark store. (Well, I never did that…) I could go and spend hours at the card shop. And I have loved cardmaking and scrapbooking for years, but I fell in love with stamping about 6 years ago when I was invited to a Stampin Up Party! I was hooked!! I love using stamps on both cards and scrapbook pages!

I fell in love with stamping taking my first class, in the back of a small jam packed stamping store with lovely creative teachers. As I was guided through ‘beginner’s stamping’, I was hooked by the end of the class.

My love for stamps began when I was a young teacher, more than 20 years ago. I started collecting stamps for grading papers (Kindergarten), and then started letting my students use them in art and they became theme related in the “art center” and I used them from time to time, but I became serious about stamps when I discovered acrylic stamps and pigment inks about 3 years ago.

My mom took me to a stamp store for my birthday twelve years ago to get me started. Though I had never heard of it before, she thought it would be fun for me and over 2,000 stamps later, I guess she was right! I also have a nice Copic marker collection that I would love to add to. Stamping has really widened my artistic horizon in ways I never would have otherwise experienced. Thanks for the chance to win!

My love of stamping began in 1954 when my mother bought me this little alpha stamp set at the local dimestore. Wow, I can remember that the little alphas were so little that you had to use a tweezer and place it under a bracket on a plastic applicator.

WOW WOW WOW, what an amazing prize package!!!!! I always loved mini self inking stampers as a kid (and my kids love them now), but I really started seriously stamping on cards and my scrapbook layouts about a year ago. It really opened up a whole new realm of possibility. Thanks so much for the chance to win 🙂

My first love at first sight was in 1993, that’s when my son was turning one and I made his invitations and used two different stamps. People had asked me where did I buy his invitations and when I told them I made them, they were surprised, so I have been stamping every since. By the way love the prize, whoever wins it will be blessed.

I didn’t even know stamping existed until August 2007, when a friend shared about it during our women’s group. I instantly knew this was something I wanted to do. It is unbelievable how much it has taken over my life. I think about it every moment I can, planning card designs in my head at times when I can’t actually stamp. It has been a creative revolution in my life.

I was in jr. high school and I got a cool stamp with “carol’ in script on it and a bright red all night media stamp pad and the rest was history!! I stamped my name on EVERYTHING, lol!! Next came the classic paw print stamp and a royal blue stamp pad… I was in college when I discovered embossing powders and after college came versa-mark inks… Love them! I’ve been stamping in one way or another for nearly 30 years!! Thanks for the constant inspiration!!

It’s hard to say exactly when I fell in love with stamps. My first stamps were Hello Kitty stamps (early elementary school). Then my name stamp. Then a whole collection of those small plastic ones that have the inkpad in the lid. Then I took a break and went full swing in high school and college. Then took another break. My current stamping love affair started in 2005. It’s a passion and addiction!

I was just looking through tax stuff & came across a folder with ‘stamp receipts’. I probably don’t need to tell you how long ago this was- suffice it to say they were for D.O.T.S. stamps! (circa’94-5). Man that was a long time ago! Can’t believe what a stamper I was at 3 yrs old! Hehehehe!
Have scrapbooked off & on for years too, but got back into stamping last spring!
I can’t even begin to tell you how thrilled (THRILLED) I would be to be a winner here! Thanks for the chance! 🙂

I had a friend many years ago that invited me to a Creative Memories party at her house. I went, bought a few things, and my friend gave me several of her stamps that she was no longer using. They sat….and sat….and sat, for many years. Then, a little over 2 years ago, my friend from church invited me to a Stampin’ Up! workshop at her home. She introduced me to cardmaking and the rest, as they say is history. I fell in love with making cards and with stamping! Now, those old stamps that were sitting have been introduced to ink and have made many, many friends along the way. Not only do I love the creative outlet and making gifts for loved ones, but have met so many great people along the way. Stamping is much more than a hobby for me now.

Okay, I am going public, I am coming out of the closet. I AM A STAMPER!
This little love affair happened quite innocently really. A magazine called Card creations Vol 7 happened to come home with me from the book store one day. I was in awe!
Next thing you know little stamp sets started hopping into my basket at the craft store in amongst the fabric and threads. Soon BIGGER stamp sets started showing up. Then they started stalking me, finding me even at the post office. Everywhere, they were breeding like rabbits.
What happened next? Well I am sure you can imagine. Inks, embossing powders, stickers and paper all started a convention in my studio. I would sneak in there to see the goings on late at night after my husband had gone to bed. I would be in there all night. He would always inquire to what I could be doing. My reply was always the same, “nothing really”. Oh if he only knew. hee hee.
I can’t stop, I don’t want it to end. Every chance I get I sneak in my studio and start the music. My stamps and I are are together until wee hours of the morning. Now every night I can’t wait for the family to go to bed, so I can sneak back to my moments with my stamps.
Thank you for a wonderful opportunity and even more so, wonderful Magazines. They feed my imagination and help me to stay creative.
Blessings, Phillane

I would have to say my ‘love affair’ began very recently. Right around Christmas time, I was directed to Melissa Phillips’ blog (I can’t even remember why) and I saw what she did with some house-shaped templates, rubber stamps and glitter. I wanted those houses! From there, I found links to several other bloggers and started following. Now my desire to create has far surpassed my pocketbook and available time.
However, the seed was planted over a decade ago with my introduction to Stampin’ Up and Creative Memories. The seeds may have been planted back then, but many other things got in the way. Now they are starting to grow again and I can’t wait until I can afford to buy some supplies. Who knows, perhaps I’ll win this fabulous collection and be able to put these creative juices to work! Oh gosh my love afair with stamps began when I was about 7 and Mum and I were going away so I left a note for Dad to feed the cat while we were away – it was covered in cat stamps – I think he still has it to this day.
It took a bit of a break but is back full force now and I just can’t get enough, I love stamps and everything you can do with them – they are so versatile.

I have had one or two stamps in my possession for probably 15 or more years. I also used to hand paint birthday cards with painting of animals and flowers when I was a teenager. I have used stamps occasionally in scrabbooking for the last 9 years but really get hooked about 5 years ago. Nowadays I’d rather make cards than scrap, so occasionally I make myself scrap a few pages to try to finish an album.

My desire to stamp started in 1995 when a pregnant co-worker was given an adorable stamped picture for her baby’s room. Being new at work I didn’t know who made the gift but I did know I wanted to be able to do the same thing.
My sister worked at a hobby store and after I explained what I wanted to do she mailed me a gift package of drawing pens, paint supplies and drawing paper.
Four years later, I found what I was looking for and bought a variety of stamps without buying ink or paper. I had no idea what I needed. Months later, a friend invited me to a stamp party and, as they say, the rest is history.

such a great question for the final day of stamping week! I got into stamping a few months after I got married. I was really into creating art with punches and my hunt for new ones took me into the local stamp store one day. the sweet owner convinced me to come to the stamp club – even though I insisted “I wasn’t a stamper” I was hooked when she showed me heat embossing! That was about 10 years ago now!
thanks for the chance to win such a fabulous prize! i won’t die if I win but I am quite certain that I will let out a cheer!

Wow, I can’t believe it. I had to think about how long ago I started stamping! It was the Fall of 2005, I had moved home and a friend of mine introduced me to stamping at a D.O.T.S. party. That dates me! D.O.T.S. is now Close to My Heart! It was one simple Christmas card that used masking, sponging ink and glitter that hooked me and had me thinking of all sorts of other things I could make. And while I’ve used stamping on various projects, I always come back to making cards. I feel good about the possibility the card has of making someone’s day brighter. Win-Win.

I started stamping cards and shrink plastic in 1982ish. As a children’s librarian, Kidstamps was big b/c of the high quality children’s illustrators’ images in rubber; Hero Arts, Stampendous, and All Night Media were among my national favorites, and TAJ was/is a Hawaii favorite. Wood reigned and now acrylic is queen w/ detailed images and EZ-PZ storage.

I always loved the arts and crafts, including stamping. However, the first time I Really got into stamping was about 12 years ago. I found out about this cool store near where I was going for an eye appointment. I decided to go and visit the store before the appointment. It was love, love, love! I didn’t realize what variety–sizes and styles-was out there. Really, now that I think about it, developed the interest for stamping before the scrapbooking. And the acrylic stamps…don’t get me started about that one! Love them!
Thank you for offering such wonderful goodies! What a great combo of stamping/crafting stuff!

{ssshhhhhh!!!} I’m a stamping ‘newbie’. I stamp sentiments. I paper piece stamped images. I stamp in black… only. I have never colored a stamped image. Pathetic, no? That’s why I buy Stamp It! Cards, to learn from the stamping experts! So, it’s not that I don’t enjoy stamping, I just don’t have the confidence to do it, nor the right supplies! I’m a quick learner, though! 😉

My love affair with stamping began when I was 14 years old. We love all holidays, but Halloween is our most favorite holiday in my family. We’ve always made it a big deal, decking the house out and and throwing lots of parties over the years. One year, my mom had been shopping at our local craft store, and spotted some fun Halloween stamps. She picked a few up, along with some text weight paper in orange and black (the paper selection 18 years ago wasn’t as great as it is now!), and brought them home. We spent an entire afternoon making all sorts of fun cards. And that’s how this huge addiction and great source of happiness began for me! Thanks for the chance to win this fabulous prize!

I am a creative person, and I have always been an office store junkie, loading up on pretty papers and tools. I owned a couple of stamps that I used on newsletters and promotions for my school library, but I caught the “stamping bug” when my new library aide came into my life. She was into stamping big-time, and I listened in a rather skeptical way as she and others on the staff talked about card swaps and weekend workshops, thinking, “Wow, these people are obsessed!” Then, I agreed to let them use the library space for an after school mini-workshop led by my library aide. I got a close-up of the beautiful cards they were making with the clever stamps, papers, and techniques that they used to enhance them. So, I started wandering the displays of stamping supplies in hobby stores. Now, it’s, “Wow, look at that stamp (or set of stamps)! Just think of all the things I could do with that!” To make a long story short, I now have storage containers full of stamping related supplies, made over 100 invitations for my daughter’s wedding, and have begun to attend card swaps and crops. I’m hooked!

My love of stamping started when I stumbled across Stampin’ Up at a craft show. I was more interested in the paper box on display than the actually stamps because I was afraid of stamps and ink and “collecting” another hobby. I bought a few things and didn’t really use them much, but I met a wonderful demonstrator that is still my friend today. Then, I discovered Papertrey Ink and Hero Arts and their blogs and their designers and their clever ideas and it was all over after that. There’s never enough time to do all that I would like, but I always make time to read. Thanks for this awesome chance!

Super prize! I would have to say my for real passion started March 2009. I have played here and there since Fall 2005. I really got going, however when I started my blog in March ’09. I started doing challenges when Gina K Designs started StampTV. I still haven’t found my style and I do a lot of challenges rather quickly, but I love to do them and to send the results to family and friends!

What an awesome giveaway! My stamping obsession started at a Stampin’ Up! party in August 2005. Prior to that I had thought stamping was pretty lame and that anything made would be very country. The cards at the party were crisp and clean and I was hooked. So hooked that when we evacuated for Hurricane Rita just 3 weeks later i took all my stamping supplies with me! After that I found Splitcoaststampers and now I can’t imagine not stamping.

My SIL got me started with stamping over 10 years ago. She has a cousin that was a consultant with CTMH and we would attend demonstrations monthly. I started my stamp collection with CTMH and it has grown from there.

Oh what a fabulous way to end a week with such a fabulous giveaway!!
I started card crafting a year and a half ago after my parents car acciendant. Mom wanted thank you cards to send to all the people who helped us. I thought a handmade card was more personal than store bought cards. So the obsession began!

Wow! What a great prize package. My love of stamping began 3 years ago when a co-worker invited me to a stamp club she belonged to. Before that I was just making cards out of recycled material and had very few stamps. She opened a whole new world for me and now I’m in 3 card clubs and I host my own scrapbooking night once a month. I’ll keep my fingers crossed!! Think lucky thoughts…think lucky thoughts…

My love affair with Rubber Stamps began in 1995. I stamped for a few years, very basic back then. Then I started Scrapbooking and loved that. For a few years I had my stamping side of the room with stamping supplies and my scrapbooking side with scrapbooking supplies. Then I woke up and then came to the realization they are one and the same. I merged my room and supplies to a Stamping/Scrapbooking haven. A scrapbook is a BIG card and a card is a SMALL scarpbook page. If you can do one, which we all can with the help of great supplies and inspriration from papercrafts, you can do the other. “Stamping is WAY cheaper than Therapy and so rewarding”

I have always loved stamps since I was a child, but I did not really get “into” it until about 4 years ago when a friend brought out the new stuff she had bought at a Stampin Up party. That was it, I was a goner!! There was a fresh boost to my obsession when I saw my first clear acrylics from Papertreyink!!
thanks for the chance to win such a great prize!!

Woweee! Good prizes!! My love affair with stamping began about 8 years ago when I went to a Stampin’ Up! party. So much for my cross-stitching, embroidery, rug-hooking, quilting…paper-crafting blew me away!

Ah… the love of stamping goes way back for me- probably 15 years ago I got a stamp as a gift. It was a cow with heart shaped spots (I collected cow stuff at the time). I found a holly stamp with heart shaped berries and used them together on kraft paper to make Christmas wrapping paper for all my gifts that year and I was hooked! I stamped on envelopes and made my own stationary… got a lot of miles out of those stamps and fell head over heels when I found my first stamp store and it’s all history from there. Can’t get enough, so I’d love to add this fabulous prize to my collection!

I can’t seem to recall exactly when stamping became a part of my crafting…but I can recall it was all due to a Stampin’ Up party I was invited to!

My love affair…oh, since I was a little kid. But it became “serious” four years ago, when a friend gave me a LOAD of stamps! And like the rest of the gals, “the rest is history”. 😉

I resisted getting into stamping because I always have to have all the latest things to go with a new creative endeavor. When my Dad passed away several years ago, I thought it would be something nice for my Mom and I to do together when I was visiting with her in Florida. Now, eight years later, I have a jam packed studio filled mostly with stamp supplies. It has become my number one passion.

For what seems like ions ago (maybe 40 years?) an envelope could not leave our house without sealing wax and a stamped impression. Then one day 30 years ago I found the prettiest monogram rubber stamp of the first initial of our last name. Got a blue office stamp pad and that became the stamp on the back of envelopes. I still have the stamp and yes, it is permanently blue. Does anyone remember DOTS rubber stamps? It was a home party business. I had a party, I am guessing, 25 years ago and the rest is history. I’ve been making cards ever since. Pottery, cross stitch, decoupage, crocheting have all come and gone for me, but stamping remains in my blood.

My obsession started in January of 2002 when I attended my first stamping party. I used to make fun of rubber stamping and now I’m one of those “crazy people who make their own cards.” LOL Guess I should be careful about what I say.

My love for stamping started when I found the PTI blog from Nichole Heady.
just the way she and the other designers used their stamps in so many ways
made me want to try it also.
From this blog to Betsy Veldmans blog and so many other blogs and also to this blog.
Just love all the ways stamps can be used.

Well, I stamped for a few years in junior high (nothing too great or complex)… and just got back into it a few months ago (8 years later or so). I’ve been having so much fun looking at all the blogs and inspiration, I probably spend more of my limited time doing that than stamping right now (unfortunately)!

I first started stamping in 2001 – attended my first SU! workshop and was hooked! Unfortunately, life demands more of my time these days and I’m not able to do as much stamping as I’d like, but I’m still in love with all things paper-crafty!

OMG, OMG, would LOVE to win a set of Copics and all the other great goodies! What a great prize pack! I began stamping when I was just a kid so that would be back in the 70s. But I got really, really into it when I moved to Seattle in 1998. Seattle is an amazing city for stamping. There are so many amazing stamp stores there. My stamp collection continues to grow. I’m sure I’ll be stamping well into retirement. 🙂

Let’s see…I was first introduced to stamping in January of 2001 at an SU! workshop, but it didn’t turn into a full-blown love affair until I finally had time to really start exploring different stamps and accessories in 2006 when I moved to Germany and had a little more free time.

Well I have been called a Royal PIA but that is about as close to royalty as I will come- LOL! Love the prize package!!! My love affair with stamping began in the late 70’s, early 80’s- back when you could only find stamps at craft fairs – small companies hawking their wares! Then a few started creeping into stores… I dropped stamping for a bit but took it back up with a vengeance!

What an awesome give away! I started dabbling back around 2000 when a friend introduced me to SU. I used them on my scrapbook pages. I wasn’t really into making cards yet. Then a few years later I really started getting hooked. I started making cards and the rest is history. My husband doesn’t cringe too bad anymore when I go shopping. I think he has gotten used to now after all these years and I work to support my hobby! Thanks for the chance to win!

I have scrapbooked for ever and about 5 years ago a friend pointed me in the direction of cards…..and there I do most of my stamping. Still trying to incorporate my stamping in scrapbooking but that seems to be happening very slowly! : ) Maybe it’s because I make cards all the time now and hardly ever scrap. ; )

I bought my first stamps (rubber mounted on wood) in the 1990’s, but only used them a few times. I think I really fell for stamping when I began to see all the great sets out there, began to follow the blogs of creative folks like Dawn McVey, and for sure when I played along making the 12 Tags of Christmas with Tim Holtz this past December.

I’m going to feel old here, but I’ve been stamping on and off for, oh, I don’t know, maybe 30 years? I know I stamped our daughter’s birth announcements and she’s 26 now. But, as a love affair? That probably began about ten years ago when I discovered Stampin’ Up and then has intensified crazily since the fall of 2008 when I was introduced to Papertrey Ink. Now I’m head over heels!

Well, my ‘love affair’ with stamping TRULY began about 2 years ago when I discovered Papertrey Ink! Before that I babbled in stamping a bit with Stampington & Co. stamps. I kinda miss how I use to stamp…. one dimensional. No fancy papers, no ribbon, no pop dots…. just layering and masking stamps. Too fun.
What an awesome prize pack! ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? COPICS?
I have been dreaming of the day that I get copics in my hands to play with!

As someone said in a previous post, “a seed was planted years ago” I started making cards using die cuts because I’d used die cuts extensively in the classroom. After retirement, it was natural to use them when I started making cards. I added a stamped sentiment to the front or inside. When I started making Christmas card sets for gifts, I took a card making class at Archiever’s and I became hooked on acrylic stamps. At first it was because of how economical a set of acrylic stamps were compared to wood based stamps. I bought card making books, took more classes, started buying card making magazines. It really became an “obsession” when I started checking certain blogs and viewing on line galleries daily. Now, not only do I collect stamps, but patterned paper, punches and dies, buttons and ribbons, inks and embossing powders, embossing folders and embellishments! Luckily I’ve moved into a house where I have a whole room dedicated to paper crafts! I’ve started a card making club that meets twice monthly so I can share my obsession. Maybe I’ll be brave and submit a card to an on-line gallery next.

I have purchased stamps on and off for the past several years. Many of them were resold before I even used them. Scared of them I guess, but recently I got bitten by the stampin bug. About a month or so ago, I got into a card making frenzy and stamping goes so nicely with card making. So, the love affair has just begun and I have so much to learn.

My addiction started in Jan. 2002 after my father passed away I wanted to protect the memories. I have tried creative memories, close to me heart. and stampinup love all but i turn to Paper Crafts magazine, and I cannot part with them they are chalked full of inspiration. I just got back for CK Louisville and had a great time, but our friend we were staying at had to go the hospital. I got to take a class from Susan and received wonderful cards at the swap.. Thanks for coming to Louisville.

My best guess is probably in 1997 when I wandered into a Stamp store for no particular reason and saw ALL the stamps displayed on the walls and was just in awe of the things that could be made with rubber stamps and basic ink and basic card stock… I was just amazed with the beautiful things they had even back then and the options were fairly minimal back then. It was just sooo cool to really design your own ‘thing’ with your own special touches. It could be a true reflection of your and your creativity. I guess I’ve been kinda hooked ever since!

Wow! Love these stamps!
I first started stamping when I was just a teenager back in the 80s. Not much sophistication, mind you, but it was extremely gratifying to be able to say, “Here’s a card I made for you!” I gave it up when I went away to college, but came back to stamping nearly 2 years ago.

Wow – what an amazing prize package. Well, for me it all started in 2000 when I was away at school and a friend introduced me to SU. A group of us used to get together once a week to stamp. My love affair with stamping began about 7 years ago (yikes!) when I picked up some 75% off Christmas stamps from a local craft store. At a time when I had graduated from uni with a film degree I found that I no longer had that creative outlet that my studies gave me. It drove me a little nuts and the stamps helped me realise that a creative outlet is a must for my sanity. Crafting is a great escape and I find that stamping is one of the foundations to my card making. Not only that it keeps my hubby happy as I can buy one stamp and use it over and over again, saving our budget.

Though I started to dabble with ink long before, it was surfing Blogland that really got me obsessed with getting inky! I have a real love affair with Papertrey Ink – so much that I’ll happily pay the shipping and customs to get the goodies here on this side of the pond! Some say I’m crazy, I say I’m inspried!

My love affair with stamping began with confusion. We had just moved to Reno, NV, and I had been invited by someone I met at church to a Stampin Up party. My husband remarked, “What are you going to do? Stamp out the devil?” and I honestly didn’t know. But once I got there and made some cards, I was hooked. My screen name is artlikefastfood because as an artist and a very busy mother of 4 and art teacher, I think of paper crafting as a “fast food” version of “formal” art. It is a great release and ministry to others, since by nature it is artwork made to be given away.

My love affair of stampin started with a SU! party in 2000. It has been an obsession ever since! I used to be a demonstrator but let that go since there are soooo many companies out there that I love, I have to use a little bit of everything. And of course my supplies just grow and grow and grow. I am getting ready to fall headfirst into my “scrapbox” and see what I can use just using scraps. I would love to be in the running to win all of these wonderful products. I can share with my fellow stamping sistahs!

I began using stamps in the classroom, too many years ago to remember. A fellow teacher teased me into using them for things other than grading. In 2000, during a hiccup in my career, I started with Stampin’ UP. It’s been a wonderful journey ever since. I have developed new friendships and grown closer to my daughter , who also shares the passion. It doesn’t get better than that! Thanks for inspiration and a chance to win such a generous prize.

Your question has me a bit stumped! I feel like I have always been arty, but oddly enough, I can’t remember the first time that I ever stamped something. It is probably safe to say that my growing obsession with all things stamped has really grown over the last twelve years…working part-time for a few years at my local stamping/scrapbooking store helped my collection of all things inky take over a small bedroom in my house. I might not have as much time (or even money) to spend on my hobby now, but I still look forward to taking that blank paper, fantastically designed stamp and brilliantly colored ink and creating something unique and fabulous! ~Tara D.

Actually, I just fell in love with stamping. I’m a college student (at UC San Diego) so I’m younger than most of the people who are on here. Haha. I JUSSTT started to scrapbook – meaning I actually just went out to buy my first set of supplies LAST NIGHT! My friend’s mom had a few stamps she didn’t use anymore so she gave me those and I absolutely LOVE how simple they are, but how much personality they can bring to a page or a card. Just one small stamp can add so much to anything! I love how I can personalize things. I’d love to have these stamps to be my FIRST ever new stamps! It’s hard for me to buy stamps because as I said, I’m still in college & I’m paying my own tuition, so I’d love to win!!! I adore those Daisy Bucket stamps! SO adorable!!

I started stamping in my arts class when one of our assignments was to carve a stamp in a linolium block. That was in my senior year in highschool! (March 1977!) I’ve been stamping ever since!

What a wonderful giveaway! I started scrapbooking about 11 years ago, and stamping sometime after that as a means of embellishment. I have since also started making cards and other paper crafts as well!

I started stamping after going to a women’s group at my church, atleast 16 years ago. At first it was an outlet to get out of the house being a SAHM of two preschool boys. Then it became a major release of creativity I didn’t know I even had! I kept my sanity AND made something I was so proud of. The funniest thing was, I couldn’t make myself send the cards after making them. It took a years before I sent my first card!! I don’t know why unless it was the fact I didn’t think I’d ever do anything that beautiful again. See, I ended up having another baby about that time and thought all life of crafting was over. Guess what? I am here to say, I not only stamped for all these years but am into scrapbooking as well. See there is a happy ending but I still have one of the first projects I stamped and still refuse to give it away bc it represents that time of my life! Enjoy life bc it goes by fast!

Wow, what a question…my love with stamping began when I was about 8 or 9. My grandparents had a business and lived next door to it. They rec’d tons of mail both for home and business. They gave me all the junk mail they had saved up between visits and all their office stamps like PAID, NOW DUE, SUBMIT NOW, FOR DEPOSIT ONLY, ADDRESS STAMPS, DATE STAMPS, PAID IN FULL and many more. They had to have extra ink pads so that there would be clean ones after I left. My grandpa never showed me how to clean a stamp and those stamps lasted a very long. Papercrafts, stamping, painting and sewing are in my blood!

WooHoo! 🙂 love Paper Crafts give-aways! I think my love for stamping started so long ago. It’s been twenty years since I fell in love with stamps and all the creative art linked to stamps. I was invited to a Stampin’ Up show and it took off from there. Now I can’t get enough of it. Thanks for the chance to win these great stamps. They would be a great addition to my collection. XXXX cossing my fingers….

My love affair for stamps started about two year ago when I went to a stamp party and learned about all the fabulous ways I could use them. Now I can’t stop collecting them.

In 2004, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. I decided to make a scrapbook of her childhood photos (in hopes to cheer her up and reminder her of what a beautiful person she is), her family and then later added her children, hopefully I will get to add the grandchildren some day. I researched scrapbooking online and I don’t remember but I got into Stampin’ Up. Found a demonstrator near me and went to a class. I began scrapbooking on my own and stamping. Fell in love with it and it’s been apart of my life ever since then.

When did I start making cards? It seems like I have been doing it forever. I cannot, in my heart or according to friends, purchase a card anymore. I love this craft and will continue it as long as I can.

I started stamping about 22 years ago. My daughter was a toddler, and they sold a few stamps at a toy store I used to bring her to for story hour. Bought a couple, along with embossing powder, and was INSTANTLY hooked! What an awesome prize package!!! Crossing my fingers and toes!

I went to a craft fair and saw a lady making cards. There was some pretty gold embossing on the card and I wanted to know how it was done. That was my introduction to stamping and it was about 12 years ago. I was hooked from the moment she brought out the tools – Versamark, Gold EP, the heat gun – and saw how that gold powder melted into the cardstock.
This is a very generous prize I would love to win. Keeping my fingers crossed…..

I started to learn to stamp about 20+ years ago, stopped for a while and now am back at it. The new and better inks and techniques make me love it even more. I am so impressed with everyone’s work. Stamping has grown leaps and bounds in the past several years. I would love to win this prize.

This is one incredible bunch of loot! I started stamping about 6 years ago and quit dusting and cleaning my house about 6 years ago as well. Just kidding – kind of! The dust bunnies hiding in the corners and along the baseboards can wait – my stamping obsession comes first now!

My love for stamping began at a Stampin Up party about 5 years ago. Now I have what my daughter refers to as my “store” in a spare bedroom. I LOVE this stuff, and all the wonderful inspiration available out there. Thanks for what you do!!

I’ve actually just gotten into stamping this past year. I did it a bit before.
But this past year I fell in love with it and got my very first embossing tools like the heat gun and embossing powders now I’m always looking for a way to add something to a card with stamping and embossing. I also tried a embossing pen and that adds a lot to the cards I make as well. I love stamping!
