Welcome to Magazine Monday! Is everyone getting excited for St. Patrick’s Day? Make sure you check back with us on Wednesday for Kim Hughes’ Groovin’ with the Go-to Gals post. She’s designed three cards using three different shades of green and will announce some fun challenges for anyone who wants to play along.
Since we’re in full St. Patty’s countdown mode, I thought I would share some of the cards we made at our last card group. I gave everyone the option of making either St. Patrick’s Day cards or cards of a different theme. The only catch…they all had to incorporate glorious green!

Once again, we gathered around Jennifer's dining room table for a night of crafting.
Since new momma Brandy was at home with her new little man, she sat out last month’s card group. Which means…I just happen to have an extra set of these lovely green cards. My fav shade of green is dollars for crafting
ha ha! Any extra cash I get, if its not saved, goes to supplies cause lets face it we all need 50 packs of rhinestones or 400 buttons right?

these are SO cute! love the variety, and how CLEAN you all keep your space! (that’s just craziness!)
i’m a big fan of Andrew’s “Just Keep Swimming” card (it’s one of my personal mottos, and the little fish paper is just TOO adorable!), and Becki’s “Thoughts of You” card for all those yummy patterns (houndstooth grass for the win!)… these are all wonderful, gang!
favourite shade of green is LIME, hands down! i’m all about the bold and attention-getting!

My favorite color of green, would have to be Celedon. I love the soft pastel color. But I also like the bold and bright color of Lime Green.

Green is sort of my family’s signature color. It’s become quite sentimental for us so anything and everything green goes in our family. My Dad’s green t-shirt collection is a lesson in all shades green in itself. My Sister-In-Law actually often goes into a store and asks for the “brightest ugliest green shirt” they stock. The bolder the better in our book = )

I’ve never met a green I didn’t like. But my favorite is probably that color copper turns as it corrodes, that grungy turquoise green.

Green is definitely one of my most loved colors, so I’m really loving those fabulous cards. For a few decades my favorite was Sage green, but at some point over the last few years it changed to Lime green…bright or dull lime green, love it all, especially as an accent color to a darker green.

Beinig of Irish descent on both sides of the family, my favorite green is Kelly green of course! The more St. Patrick’s Day the shade the better. I had a beautiful sweater in that shade that I had to retire and it dawned on me that I have nothing suitably green to wear this Wednesday. Sounds like a shopping trip is in order. These cards are all beautiful!

My favorite green is sage. Green has always been my favorite color and my last name is Kelly so that was my first favorite. Later, I leaned towards olive but now it’s sage. I never passed through the seafoam stage. Ahhh, the many shades of this wonderful color!

Not sure exactly what to call the shade (mint?), but we call it Vespa green. My Vespa scooter is a beautiful shade of light green. LOVE IT!

How can a person choose one shade of green as a favorite. Green is my favorite color, but I could never choose just one shade out of all the emerald, kelly, sage, forest, sea, teal, etc, etc, etc. LOL

My favourite shade of green (and favourite overall color) is sage green!! Always has been. I even tried to have it as my wedding colour – but it wasn’t in ‘fashion’ that year – so we couldn’t find any bridesmaids dresses in the right color . . . it is still my favourite though!!

This is going to sound weird but I just love pea-soup green! I painted my powder room pea-soup green and it is the room I am happiest with in my house. My living room is a spring green and I just painted my infant daughters room pink and sage green! I am a green-nut!

As Kermit says “It’s not easy being green”, but it is the color I love. Any shade of green from lime to forest. Green is the color I use the most in my cards, not to mention my house, my accessories, etc.

Ahh, green- all such lovely shades really, but my favorite is Cuttlebug Green! Seriously, my walls in my crafting area are painted just about as close to Cuttlebug green as you can get (and they were painted that color BEFORE I bought a Cuttlebug), will all white furnishings. I love my room, and I love Cuttlebug Green!

I like all colors of green. Olive green, sea foam green, lime green, green tea, the color of money green, forest green, all of the green colors Bazzill has (and that’s a lot!!)…I like green!!! So I like ALL of these great cards because they all have “green” in them. Great choice of colors!!!
