Kelly
P.S. To win a copy of Stamp It! Cards, as well as my stamped butterfly card (seen below), please leave a comment telling me why you love stamping so much.

Even I have been bitten by the stamping bug! Here's a card I created for my monthly card group. I ended up tracing the stamped butterfly image with a glitter pen to give the wings a little extra shimmer.

I love your card. I am a big fan of stamping. I have way too many stamps but I don’t care I love them too much to part with them. I was Stamping Royalty 2007 and I still have my tiara (when my 4 year old isn’t trying to swipe it, LOL) Anyway I love Paper Crafts Mag and your Stamp It cards issue is a favorite of mine.

I have been stamping for over 10 years and it has been the perfect outlet of creativity for me because the basic supplies are simple–but the creativity comes completely from my own self! Stamps, ink, paper and embellishments can be combined in countless ways and expressions! I have also met many creative women from the United States and around the world through the Paper Crafts website and message board, and other sites that I belong to. We share our creations and ideas and we also share our personal ups and downs. So becoming involved in the ‘stamping world’ has opened up the whole world to me! –Lidia

I’m a CRAFTSTAR…very similar to a Rock Star…okay maybe not
But I love to stamp! It allows me to be artistic without having to draw anything. I love Amuse stamps…they are so much fun to color. I also love to stamp, scan my stamped image and then do other stuff with it in Photoshop.
Thanks for having a whole week of stamp-fabulous things!
I have never won anything in my life..so if I won even a card I would be totally psyched!
Cheers!

Stamping is just like playtime when I was a kid – it’s crafty, it CAN get messy, I play along with others who share my interests – and of course, it’s all good creative FUN! When I finish something, instead of saying, “look what I did Mom!” now I can say, “Look at this, kids!”
Thanks for the chance to win…looking forward to next week (I hope I can get a connection in our hotel room during Spring Break!).

I didn’t really get into stamping until clear stamps started coming out. I love them because they are a little more affordable and sooo much easier to store.
I love stamping because stamps are so versatile! You can choose the color and the medium you stamp with! One stamp can create so many looks!

I love stamping because it’s such a great creative outlet. When I first started paper crafting about 4 years ago, I didn’t own a single stamp. Of course, now I can’t even keep count. I look back at some of my earliest card creations and realize they were very “elementary”, but through the Paper Crafts magazine and the great crafting friends I’ve met through the magazine, my creative talents have grown and developed and I’m usually very pleased with my efforts.

I love stamping because you can get so many different possibilities out of the same set of stamps. That and it works out cheap because you can keep stamping as much as you want but the stamps only cost you once!

Stamping gives you creative control. I’ll never forget the first time I saw a craft project with raised embossed stamping. I kept running my fingers over the image like a total goofball!

Hi Kelly – great card! I’m really excited about the Stamp It! Cards issue – I’ve been using stamps for about 15 years, and I hardly ever just stamp a design on a piece of paper anymore.
I LOVE stamping into polymer clay and using the baked images on cards and even on large pieces of art! I also enjoy stamping into paper clay, making tissue paper casts with stamps, putting designs on shrinky-dink plastic with stamps, and my most recent favorite activity? Stamping heat-activated glue from a glue pad onto paper, then brushing the design with pigment powders – love, Love, LOVE it!
Can’t wait to see the Stamp It! Cards magazine for more ideas…

I think stamping is soothing and gives me a creative outlet. I like stitching and stamping, mainly smaller items – cards over scrapbooking lately. Thanx for the inspiration and chance at blog candy!

I love stamping because it makes me feel like an artist. I really can not draw very good but always wished I could. Stamping makes me feel like I can draw.
Years ago I was watching Carol Duvall show and there was an episode on stamping Valentine cards.I thought to myself I could do that. Off I went to Michaels and found a few stamps. I was very pleased with the cards and everyone told me how great they were. I loved it. Christmas came and I thought why not make Christmas cards. Off to Michaels and I did 60 cards. I loved making the cards and loved the feedback.
I found online shopping and my world of stamping opened up. This was before blogs and such. I was off and running.
I may not be as talented as some but I just love stamping. I do other crafts (needlepoint and quilting) but when I stamp I lose myself in the process of it.
Thanks. I hope I did not talk to much

Why do I love stamping so much?
Because I don’t have an artistic bone in my body.
But when I use stamps and inks, I can create a bit of art

This card is adorable. I am such a stamping lover! It gives me such a great feeling to create something that makes me feel good and lifts my spirits, but can also pay it forward when I share the card or project with someone else!
I was just told that i was someone’s hero because I create things special from my heart to lift others spirits. AWWW

First of all I LOVE your magazines. I think I could wallpaper my house with all of them that I have. I have been stamping for over 7 years. Not only do I just love stamping, but it is my one tried and true stress reliever (that doesn’t make me gain weight!) for all of those years. The card you made is just beautiful and is a true sign that spring is just around the corner. Keep up the great work and Happy Stamping!!

I love stamping because it enables me to create something beautiful without requiring me to be able to draw it from scratch. It will still look handmade but way better than any doodling by me. There’s just something so satisfying about playing with stamps and ink… making impressions.

I love stamping. I have always been involved with crafting is some fashion, but paper crafting is the one that stuck. I love to learn new techniques and teach others as well. Stamping is my creative outlet and my “happy place”.

Stamping…what can I say? It’s been my true passion for fourteen years now. The very best part about it would HAVE to be the friends I’ve met along the way. They make my life so much richer, fuller, happier.
There’s also nothing that quite compares to being able to brighten someone else’s day with “real mail”.

I am so excited to be participating in the stamping week! The aspect of stamping that I enjoy is being able to reuse a product over and over! In these hard economic times it’s wonderful to have something that can go a long way and stamps do that and more!

Love that butterfly! I love to stamp because it’s something just for me, but that I can share with others. It’s been about 3 years since I stepped into a card store and it makes me happy that the recipients appreciate the extra step of a handmade card. Thanks for sharing

I love to stamp to escape from reality, to make something from the heart that puts a smile on someones face, and there are so many fabulous stampers with big hearts and proud to know so many of them in person and blogland. Thanks for a chance.

Why, you ask, well the truth is: a) no artistic ability; b) never taken a single art class; and c) stamping makes me feel like I’m artistic, relieves stress and saves me money verses buying cards!!! Okay, I said I tell the truth, so it really costs way more money because now I’m addicted, but who cares?!!! LOL!!!

Guess I am the old timer here. Been stamping at least 25 years. I guess it would be an understatement to say I LOVE it!!!!!!! I never seem to get tire of creating and usually put in a couple of hours every evening. It is such a relaxing change from the 9 to 5 work schedule. Right now I make about 400 cards a year. I love the look on a person’s face when they know that card has been made especially for them. Heaven forbid if my friends and family get a store card. How stamping creations have evolved over the past years. We are now much more dimensional and there is always a touch of bling. This is certainly one hobby that has lasted and lasted. I would also like to say that I love how everyone is so willing to share ideas and techniques. Thanks All

Neat idea of using a glitter pen to outline the butterfly! Thanks for the inspiration! =)
For me, when I got my first ever stamp set (it was the flourish stamp set by Rhonna Farrer for Autumn Leaves), I was hooked. It was like having a bit of magic and a teeny-tiny printing press in my hands. I love that stamps have never lost their magic on me. I still feel a little like a kid during Christmas every single time I stamp something.
Wow, would love to get a free magazine and that awesome card! =)
*hugs*

I love to stamp because it allows me to be creative. Seventeen years ago I developed repetitive strain syndrome. Five hand surgeries later, i still had pain, tingling, and numbness in both hands. I no longer could do most of the arts and crafts that I’d done all my life.
But I found I could still stamp without a lot of pain, and the more I did it, the more I loved it. I still have a creative outlet, and it is one that changes and grows with me.
